[Resolved]  Product From India Today — Fake Order

i have also got this type of sms and call.they said that they were sending some packets through courier after receiving the packet they told that i have to pay 1000/Rs.now please tell me what i will do.

I got an sms on 29/12/2008 about an orderno.MITBC-WEB[protected] with total value of RS.2598 to be paid in cash or delivery.

I hadn't placed any order for ur offerings on books.I won't pay the amount if I got any books from u.

I got a sms on 19/11/2008 about a so-called Order no. 0GA[protected] with total order value of Rs 2599 to be paid in cash on delivery.
The order is fake. I did not order it. Since it has not reached me as yet, I want the order to be cancelled IMMEDIATELY. I shall not pay for it if it arrives ar all.
i will not pay a single rupee for this.

I have ordered for Swatch watch which i won through ITBC. I am thankful to you for this. Also i am entitled to get United colors of Beneton watch free. I have made payment through ICICI bank credit card (for amount of Rs.3199/- including Rs.200/- for delivery charges).But i haven't received my order number yet.I hope you can understand I cant give you my credit card no. here.

So i kindly request you to issue my order no. to me asap.

Also please inform me in how many days i may get my gift.

ITBC08534978: ITBC had sent some parcel, unsolicited in Nov'08. As advised by ITBC, I returned the parcel, along with the courier receipt, since ITBC promised to refund the full amount of Rs. 735/=. ITBC laso covertly availed Rs. 1200/= from my credit card. When I questioned, they asked for the bank statt, when they know well the said bank gives online statt. The online statt was also sent. Till date, they have not responded, nor, returned the due amount, nor reversed the entries with the credit card bank, namely Citi. It looks that I have lost Rs. 1935/= to ITBC, as it is also India Today Cheating Club, as it takes customers for rides & earns. IT will be better if ITBC starts begging in the New Delhi streets, instead of cheating customers. May be it can be called India Terrorists Book Club also. As a Senior retired citizen, I am at a loss seeking my amounts. But, I have acoosted the media at Chennai & shall start providing the details, so that other gullible customers can be careful. For Heaven's sake, please avoid ITBC at any cost. I am fedup writing emails to them. I had called their numbers and those persons can not even talk properly, leave alone address issues. GOD save us Indians from ITBC.

1)In the phone call by lady promise to me for gift of Shoes No 6, towel, air ticket, holly day voucher and other compulsory gift and apart unities.
2) I have received 20 CD pack by Order no. 0GA[protected] with total order value of Rs 2249/- and paid in cash on delivery. But I could not received gift for that pack.
3)I could not receive any gift from one month and did not mentioned promotion number and unique number for log on your web site in your letter. I had call your costumer care number and gain the unique number ITBC 0876617and promotion number[protected]AS[protected].But these number is not respond in your web site.
Please. Give the reply and send our gift as soon as possible,

sir, more then 20days lapsed but yet i had not received my ordered reebock gift pack my booking no.[protected]&order no.oga[protected].

I have placed an order for REEBOK FITNESS kit and paid RS.3198.00 for the same through hdfc credit card in the name of Living Media India on dated 02/06/09 and same is deducted from my hdfc credit card account my order number is 0GA[protected].on dated 02/17/09 i got an SMS form TM-BookClub that your order is processed with total of RS.3198.00. Today on dated 02/27/09 i got another SMS from BookClub that Ur order with BookClub for Reebok Fitness Kit for Rs.3199 failed on credit card.you can pay by Cash on Delivery Send ITBC<space> YES FIT to 52424.T & C apply.

Already Amount is deducted from my Credit Card Account and Such a disgusting SMS i have received.As i should have received the KIT in within 15 days as promised by the Authorized Person Mr. Avinash Verma from INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB but yet it is not received.

If i don't get Call from INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB on my number [protected] as well as KIT delivery within 7 days then i am going to Lodge the Fraud Complaint Against INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB in CONSUMER COURT.

hello sir, I got some e-mais from unknown email addresses 3 months back like you have won this much of money but now it seems to be fraud. actually i got caught in the same and i pais around Rs 50000/- for some clearance charges. the money was paid through bank payment slips.
