I have purchased PureIt marvella uv purifier from vijay sales miraroad, the water started leaking from it in just 2 hrs after technician has deployed it. when I told vijay sales about this then the arrogant people of vijay sales told me that it will not be replaced and you have to go to pureit customer care. SO THIS IS FIRST AND LAST EXPERIENCE WITH VIJAY SALES. Was this information helpful? | |||

Defective Marvella UV Purifier:
I Purchased a Marvella UV Purifier from R. K. Music Centre, Chinchawad, Pune - 411 019 on 29th Sept'12. Since then my nightmare has started. The same day one technician came who just could not fit the Purifier, after opening 2 of 4 screws, holding the UV Cylinder/Cartridge with the purifier body, for reasons best known to him. The next day another technician came, who although made the purifier operational, but kept the 2 screws still open. He promised to fix the same within 2-3 days as extra screws were not available with him. Although finally after 20-25 days, the screws were fitted after continuous follow-up from my end, the problem did not end there. After just 2-3 days, water started leaking from within the purifier. I registered the complaint with Pureit Customer Care & the same was attended. However again after 2-3 days, the same leakage has happened & the Purifier doest not stop even after the internal tank has become full. Even after 3 visits by Pureit Technician, the problem still continues as on date. Even now the purified water tastes different.
I am really disheartened by the performance as well as service quality of Pureit/ Hindustan Unilever. I believe that the Water Purifier is a defective one, which could not be fixed, even after 5-6 visits of Pureit Technician. I want the defective product to be replaced by a good one. I did not expect such a bad quality product from a reputed company like Unilever & now fear to recommend this product to my friends.
This calls for an immediate action from Pureit Team.
