I would be very suspicious of this and this almost certainly a scam. It fact I would go as far as guaranteeing this is a scam.

The Scotland Merchant Finance Bank (SMFB) doesn't exist as a bank and any web addresses it has have been closed down.

Crucially the address given below is completely wrong as Croydon is in England and the other side o[censored]K from Scotland which is a seperate country.

In Indian terms this would be the same as giving an address in Delhi but stating the country is Bangledesh.

Make sure that the senders name and receivers name is not the same as your name. This is because, The U.K. Immigration office is not interested in your money, and also for security purposes. If you are travelling alone to the U.K., your BTA should be 833GBP, but if you are travelling with your family your BTA should be 1, 250GBP. This means that if you are travelling alone you should transfer 833GBP at the western union office, but if you are travelling with your family you should make a transfer of 1, 250GBP at the western union office.
3. After you have made the transfer, you will scan the receipt and forward it to me, i will print it and along with your other informations i will take them all to the Immigration office for submission and verification. The U.K. Immigration office will contact western union to confirm that you actually made the transfer and to verify all the information in the western union money transfer receipt. Please be warned that any slight mistake whatsoever in the western union receipt will render the receipt invalid and therefore it will not be attended to. After the verification has been made by the U.K. Immigration office, then you can go to the western union office and inform them you want to call the money back. The verification process takes about 12 hours. I will inform you immediately the verification has been concluded in order that you can go to the western union office and get back your money. Please be aware that your BTA money is not for the U.K. Immigration office, they only want the proof that you actually have that money which is why they will contact western union to verify the receipt.
4. After you have gone to the western union office to make the transfer, you are to send me, &nbsp;
