Sir, myself is nalini chauhan.I am a student, my native place is Himachal and I had booked my ticket in tatkal on 6 June, 2009..I lost my ticket and went to the same ticket counter from where I have booked my tickets which is in indiranagar(in BDAcomplex)Bangalore to take the duplicate of it.I went there 2 hrs before my train i.e. karnataka exp..The head of the counter named Mr.Rosh misbehaved and ill-treated me and asked me to pay 50%of the amount.Sir according to railway rules its not written anywhere that if the person make the duplicate tickect before the chartsheet is prepared has to pay 50% for tatkal ticket.Sir, firstly I got the tickect in 2nd AC tatkal and again I payed 2338/- for duplication still I missed my train.All it happend because of that person.Sir he gave me ticket by 6:50 pm and i had my tarin by 7:20 pm. i missid it.The next day it was sunday.So I went on monday to that person asking him for some cooperation he refused to help.what was my fault sir ?it was he because of whom I lost the train after paying 7000/- I missed my train.I request you to take some action aginst such greedy person.this was disgusting. Subject: To inform the lack of sufficient trains from Thanjavur to Mayilduthurai.
i'm in thanjavur (Dt), Tamilnadu state. i and my people thanking you for reducing the train fair. As Four years back(Meter guage line) a passenger train (7.30 am) form Thanjavur to Mayilduthurai had been cancelled. After changing the line as broad guage, the above said train is not available from thanjavur to mayilduthurai. Now the passenger train is available at 8.30am only, before morning there is only express train is available, so poor people are suffer due to express train fair. so please kindly assign a passenger train at the morning
* Main thing is, Few year ago from vilupuram to Thanjavur they changing as a meter guage to broad guage, the project doesn't completed yet.
* Atleast give some more trains from Thanjavur to mayilduthurai, because After 8.30 am to 1.30 p.m there is not train from Thanjavur to Mayilduthurai, and also from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm there is no trainavailable from Mayilduthurai to Thanjavur. There is only one Express train is available at the time of 2 pm from mayilduthurai to thanjavur.
* There are two train available, Rockfort train will come to thanjavur at 9.30 am as a passenger from kumbakonam to Thanjavur, and then they put as idle.
* Another a Bio desiel train is available, they put as idle at thanjavur from 10.30 am onwards.
please kindly taking action to give some more tains for the need of passenger.
