[Resolved]  Redbus — Bad Service misutilisation of the word

Due the cancellation of Sahara travels bus from Hyderabad to Bangalore 9.45pm on 24th Oct. 2008, redbus.in booked my ticked in Omer Travels. This is the worst bus (KA 20 A 4907) I ever have seen. This Omer travels is one of the worst, hopeless services in India I can say. No passenger travelled in this trip due to the failure of the bus. This travel people are not bothered about the timings and passenger. They have given different departure timings to different passengers from 8.30 to 10pm. But the bus did not arrived in time. They have arranged a bus which was under repair in Garage. At 11pm they have taken all the passenger in two condemned vehicles to the garage and asked us to board the bus. Some of the passengers surprised to see the bus was leaking oil and water and asked for refund. But that person told that bus is ready for journey. He asked everyone to board the bus at 11pm. One more thing I have to mention is the ticket numbers you have given are like x8 etc. but the there is no such number in the bus. The oemr travels bus person allotted the seats to passengers according to his wish. He collected all the tickets from the passengers and remained off the bus. At 11pm after everyone is boarded the bus this fellow bus fellow is filling the diesel. He has taken nearly half an hour and started at 11.30pm. Every passenger was watching patiently. After going 2 kilometer the bus started emiting smoke and the smoke came inside the bus also. Unable to sit we all the passengers stopped the vehicle and asked for the refund. They again started repairing the bus. The passengers lost the faith in the bus and came to decision it is very dangerous to travel in such a badly maintened bus. Finally the police came. After 2pm they did some repair and asked all the passengers to board. But none of the passengers wanted to board this bad bus. Police convinced some 10 passengers including me to board the bus as it is repaired. Again it started at 3.30pm and after 5 minutes the coolent water leaked again. Then only the driver came to know that the bus can not go to Bangalore. At last I rushed to Airport and caught a flight to bangalore at 8.40am.

After reaching Home Bangalore at 1.30pm I wrote to redbus.in on 25.10.2008 and requested to refund the amount and in future not to transfer the passengers to Omer Travels and de-list any such travels. They simply replied saying they will look into the matter. They have asked to give the signature from driver of the bus. Bus itslef has not gone to Bangalore on that day due to repair. I have sent them my air ticket etc as proof that I have not travelled in their bus. Till today 26 Nov. 2008 they have not sent any reply. And also these online sites put in their terms and conditions that they are not responsible for difficulties we face with the Bus staff.
Please let me know how do to take this matter to consumer forum. Please let me know the procedure.

I booked a ticket using redbus. After making the payment through netbanking, till now, i didnot get any booking confirmation printout that i can carry as proof of my booking. So, when or where will i get that and how should i go without any proof that i booked a ticket ?
Any suggestions pls ...

I have a bad experience with REDBUS.
I had canceled my ticket numbered T[protected].
But they have not mailed me the balance amount coupon.
The customer support for red bus from bangalore office did not respond properly regarding this.
Any one please let me know how move this problem to a consumer forum or court.

I booked the bus ticket from hyderabad to pune in "omer travels", they given sheduled departure time at 8:30 PM seat no 31 and they told me as push back seat. But the bus started at 11:30 the y picked up the 8:30, 9:30 and 10 :30 passengers in same time . and actully the bus capacity was 28 but they given 34 seats, in last row they made a seat it is like bench . they given to six pepole . when they are asking the managent they are not responded pepole . From Hyderabad the bus was started at 11 :30 and they are pick up the passengers from in between the way . this was very un conditional behaviour by driver and managemnet and they are not properly responds to passengers and one of passenger he travelled earlier also he faced the same thing .I am not sure whether it is management problem or drivers and agents problem . before starting the bus they will stop at wakad in pune but they dropped me at pune railway station at around 12:30 PM after getiing down bus i suffered with back pain and i could nt able to go office, . the bus no was i am not sure AP16 7672 but AP16 and starts with 7 ... . jotrney date 3- Nov-2009
