[Resolved]  Reliance Big Tv — SET UP BOX

I HAD PROBLEM WITH UR SET BOX LIKE HANGING AND SUDDEN ON.OFF. (LAST 20DAYS BACK) I MADE A COMPLAINT AND UR EXECUTIVE HAD CAME AND REINSTALLED THE SOFTWARE AND INFORMED AS IF THE PROBLEM PERSISTS AGAIN PLS INFORM WE WILL CHANGE THE SET UP BOX. THE PROBLEM PERSIST AGAIN AND MADE THE COMPLAINT NEW SET UP BOX WAS INSTALLED (LAST FRIDAY 5TH APRIL) BY ONE EXECUITIVE AND HEWAS NOT CHEKCED THE BOX WHETHER IT IS WORKED OR NOT.. HE TOLD WE HAVE TO DO PAIRING FROM OUR HO AND THIS WILL BE TAKEN CARE IT WILL GET RESOLVED. AFTER TWO DAYS ALSO IT WAS NOT SOLVED AGAIN I CALLED ON 8TH APRIL THE CUST CARE SO MANY TIMES BUT IT WAS SOLVED AS OF NOW.

1.THE SERVICE GIVEN BY U IS VERY POOR. EACH AND EVERY TIME WHEN I CALL CUSTOMER CARE I HAVE TELL STORY TO EACH EXECUTIVE SPEAKS. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR EDUCATED PEOPLE TO HANDLE U, THINK ABOUT THE UNEDUCATED PEOPLE WHO TAKEN THE CONNECTION FROM U?

2.PLS RECTIFY MY PROBLEM WITHIN 48 HOURS OTHERWISE I WOULD LIKE TO DISCCONECT UR SERVICE , SO THAT PLS LET ME KNOW THE PROCEDURES.

PLS LOOK INTO THIS SERIOUS MATTER AND DO THE NEED FULL.

Reliance Big TV Services — Faulty Services with No Viewership Availability

1.It is with regret and frustration that I have to inform you of my experience in dealing with Reliance Big TV service and representatives regarding several technical glitches and customer service issues since subscribing to your new DTH service.

2. For your reference, my Account ID is[protected], and the
most recent complaint I have filed is No 82729828 dated
11-dec-08. Since this service was installed at my residence,
I have been unable to utilize the complete range of channels
or programs being promised as part of the package. The
service reception has been very poor and the channels that I
can access have been disappearing at random intervals,
leading to very poor experience with your service quality.Presently I am not able to view any channels.

3.The customer service representatives have been very poorly
equipped to handle complaints, many times the calls to your
toll free number go unanswered and your reps have been
promising that engineers will come onsite within 48 hrs to
resolve the issue but no one has turned up till date to look
into these problems.

4. As a last resort, I am sending this email to your relevant
customer service departments and forward to Reliance senior
management. If my complaints cannot be addressed in the next
24 hours, please refund my subscription deposit and
disconnect this service. I am also actively considering
filing a complaint with Consumer Redressal Forum, TRAI,
Local Media etc and seek their aid to pursue this matter
through resolution.

5. Look forward to next steps and quick resolution.

BIG TV — Improper installation

I purchased big tv in feb, 09.the dish was installed by there representative on a wooden block and was placed on floor in front of house, with some heavy stones on it, against my wish.and i was told that he dosnt have drill so he cant place it on roof top, but he will return in a week and place it on roof top.til then me dish gets disturbed each day and i have 2 c only there msg of no signal.after continuous complaints the dish is till now not installed at appropriate place..where should i go now...

BIG TV Services are working 24 day only for taking mony from consumers, either by Phone, internet, when ever i want to recharg there services are properly work,

but when we want to activation/deactivation, they never work.

customer care service exeutive not satisfy to me.

there web site: offer Starter pack-3 ( 125 Channal ) there customer care said only 100 channal,
Max Pack ( 134 channal ) there exectuvie said its only 125 channals,

i send so many email to [protected]@bigtv.co.in, no reply come.

yester day they have deactivate my services, and now i am send so many email, but they have no reply.

what is good service of big tv when you recharge they work 24 housr, if you want to other services they are get out.

Reliance Big TV — Improper Installation of Disc

Sub.:- Complaint regarding Improper Installation of Big TV Disc and charges thereof.


It is stated that I am a customer in your esteemed unit since 13/03/2010. I am dealing with a lot of problems so far as enjoying of different channels through your installed disc is concerned. Time and again, I have complained to your Customer Care Representative and the technicians who use to visit time & again have not rectified it. Some times the technicians take the plea that the disc is bend and is of no use and after that they use to rectify the problem and are of the opinion that the disc is manageable and also some times they are of the opinion that the existing disc needs to be replaced. But the problem still persists day by day. Some times the signal is OK and many a time the signal is very poor and that to for me taking a BIG TV connection, it is like a curse.

Worth mentioning that recently the basement of the existing disc i.e. 02 (two) nails had been tilted out from the existing area which results the disc into a bend position. Obviously there would be no signal. Whenever I have made a complaint to your customer care representative, he assured that the technician will come and rectify the problem. One technician viz. Sh.Gajender has visited on dated 16/7/10 to settle out the problem. First of all he was of the opinion that the disc needs to be replaced and soon after he was of the opinion that the disc is manageable but he charged Rs.350/- towards re-installation charges. It is not understood if the nails of the disc stand is tilted out and your representative just to shift that stand for a distance of about less than 5 inches, for that he is charging Rs.350/- for re-installation charges. I think it is the fault of the 1st technician who installed the disc in a very casual manner without observing the surface position, for which this problem persists.

According to your Customer Care Representative, the warranty period still exists and for replacement of a new disc, your company is charging Rs.550/- including all other charges for which I am ready to pay. But it is not feasible on my part to pay again and again for re-installation charges. Moreover, I don’t want to take further headache in this regard. The aforesaid matter may please be looked into and I hope a permanent solution will be provided to me at an early date. If still not possible, it is requested to convey the process how the said connection will be surrendered or pertinent to mention here that Shall I kncok the door of the consumer forum?

100% agree with the comments of every one. Worth mentioning that the comments offered by the consumers are much lesser than the problem actually they are facing. In my opinion if the company unable to provide service upto the satisfaction of the viewers, it puts a very bad impression upon the high profiles of the company and raises a big question mark towards their efficiency to run the management of the company.
set up box is not running properly. pls solve the problem as soon as possible.
