Reliance bigflix is a movie rental service where you can pay one time(monthly, quarterly or annually ) and watch unlimited movies through home deliveries or picking movies from their stores.
Around 5 months back they closed their stores without informing the customers and started delivering movies through home-delivery process. Now around 2 months back, they all of of sudden stopped their home-delivery service too, without informing the customers.
When I inquired about the stoppage of services, I just got to know they are shutting down the operations and they will launch a website for online viewing only. And they told me that they will compensate my remaining four months of subscription with sending me a DVD pack.
First of all, it was very unprofessional of the company to stop its services with even informing the clients. Even they were asking for fresh renewals of plans just 10 days before stopping their services. This shows their intentions to cheat the customers.
Now after my sending numerous mails to their customer support, they have just sent me 10 useless DVDs in compensating my 4months of subscription in which I could have watched 60-70 movies easily.
I hope that some actions should be taken against them so that they learn that consumers should not be cheated. And I can get my due for the amount I have paid for their services.
