[Resolved]  Reliance Broadband — Refund not received

Hello sir/ Madam,

I am Viral Shah and living in Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra. I would like to complain regarding my refund for broadband connection. Though my connection is cancelled, I still not received my 500 rs) I applied for Reliace broad band connection on 3/10/2009. I approached pune office (Nr. Swargate, Behind BSNL building). I met Mr. Kishor (Mob: +91 [protected]) and submitted all required documents(Copy of rent agreement, Photo, Copy of driving license and check of 500rs on name of RIL A/C RIC from my city bank account, Cheque No.98174) and Mr. Kishor told that in 4 days I will get connection. I appled for 649 rs plan. On 5/10/2009 I got a call from Mr. Nilesh (Mob: +91 [protected]) and he told that there is no Broadband port in my society so it is diffuct to get the connection. But the alternate way is, he prepared fake address proof and he told it is a normal procedure in reliance connection as in many buildings they don't have ports and students sometimes don't have any address proof and then he told that he will do everything and he just called me to give a credit card number that he is going to use for preparing address proof. So, that in case I will get a call for address verification then I have some reference. The credit card detail information is [protected] from HSBC bank and address is C-23/24, Bhosale garden / Bhosale Park, HAdapsar, Pune. (Bhosale garden / Bhosale Park are my adjacent societies and they have port in that society) Then I waited for a week but they didn't provided a connection at my home and as I was in urgent need to connection, I called Mr. Nilesh back on 12/10/2009 and he told that the same day I will get the connection. In the afternoon I got a call from a reliance service engineer that he went to Bhosale Park but there is no flat like the mentioned in address and then I told him that my actuall address is C/23, Prithvi Apts, Hadapsar, Pune and then he told me that they don't have any port in the society so it will take more 15 days to install the connection. Then I told him that better to cancel the installation as I don't want to wait for the connection due to my urgent need and he told OK. On 14 or 15 th October morning I received SMS from my bank that the Cheque No.98174 paid TO RCIL AC RIS,IDBI BANK LTD and amount is deducted. I
informed this to Mr. Nilesh and he told that it has happenned by mistake and he will start the procedure for refund and I will get my money back in 7 days. From that day I am continuous in touch with Mr. Nilesh but he is not giving me any proper answer. Last monday (26/10/2009) he told that he started a procedure for refund but still this date I didn't get my refund. I suppose Mr. Nilesh submitted my cheque and gave connection to some other person.

I also filed complaint on Reliace customer care on 3/11/2009 by email and I received reply from them that they will look into it but nothing happens till date.

Kindly help me to get my refund back.

Hi I am Prashant Phatke from Yerwada East Khirkee Pune 03. I have taken reliance broad band connection (with dish) but it hardly worked for me but they keep charging me their regular bill. Finally When I have requested them to disconnect it ...after almost 1month they have done it..but they have not refunded by initial deposit till now...

I would like to request to new willing subscriber that please note that you are not going to get your deposit back.

My user id is[protected] and it is terminated by my request at October 2014. I've paid R.s.2000 at the time of installation and my monthly plan was Rs.450. Almost Rs.1500 they are swallowed as a security deposit. After the service termination, there is no refund I got till yet(3 months from the termination). Also my bills are paid by advanced. I've been contacting the customer care by emails and phone calls from the last three months. But all are talking pointless or escaping from the queries.
