Reliance Communications — lines debarred after twice payment | |||
I am using a no from reliance 3G Postpaid. i have an unlimited plan which costs me around 1700 per month . i had received a bill of rs 1765.55 in july for which i paid 1500 rs through my debit card online so remaining amount was 265.55 . as i was busy i could not make this payment due to which my line was barred on 1st of august at night 3 AM. so far so legal and good. now as i stay awake at night when i saw this i made a payment of rs 500 within 5 mins using my icici debit card online for which i got a receipt no AMIP39843850. I knew that it takes around 3 to 6 hours to restore the line automatically so i slept to find out in the morning that my outgoing was still barred. so i called the callcentre on *222 which could be reached after serveral attempts. i told my story and a complaint was lodged with ref no :[protected] which was to be resolved within 6 hours , after 1 and half hours i received a message that my SR no[protected] has been processed. when i tried restarting my phone the outgoing was still dead., i again made a complain and again got a reference no that is[protected] and again same thing happened ., on asking i was told by the customer care representative that the payment was not showing on their system biut they had a confirmation that the payment was done ( so ridiculous).. however he escalated the call to a superior knowing a genuine problem but he kept the phone saying it will be resolved soon within 6 hours. again i lodged a complaint and it was again processed but no result and then lastly i paid online another 300 bucks and still waiting the result but in vein... sometimes it seems they are playing with the money . who;s going to compensate for the outgoing calls i could not make for 24 hours. and i dont know how much more time. what is the use of the credit limit of 3000 if they disrupt my calls just for 255 rs...its pathetic. I use a similar VIP no on the vodafone network with credit limit of 21000 and they dont ask me to pay even i pay them after two months., this is where reliance is lacking goodwill with the customers.
