Reliance Data Card — Harassment | |||
I had a Reliance data card (data card no : [protected]) for 15 months and it did not work properly for many months. Whenever i called technical support the only answer they gave was that they are adding additional towers in my area and the problem would be resolved in the month end. This happened for more than 4 months. I disconnected the data card in November 2011. I informed customer service that I will not pay the dues for the last month as I did not receive good connection for more than 4 months. Today I received a call from [protected] and the lady at the other end said she was from Reliance Data card customer service. She abused me with bad words and told me that there is case going on at the courts and i need to attend it today. I politely informed her that i did not receive any notice from them and if i receive any i am ready to attend the case. She has simultaneously called all my friends (all contacts whom I telephoned in the last month using my mobile) and abused them with bad words and had asked them to pay the money for me. I understood that my Airtel mobile bill somehow got leaked to them (I am pursuing a separate case with them for leaking my mobile bill ). My contacts had received harassment calls from [protected] and [protected]. I would like to register a complaint against reliance for harassing me. My question to them is if they cannot provide proper service why should i pay my bills. I have paid all my dues for 14 months but when I understood that the situation will not change, i disconnected the service. Even if i refuse to pay the amount, how can they harass me. And who are them to harass my contacts. I would like an answer ASAP. I am also registering a police complaint. Was this information helpful? | |||
