[Resolved]  Reliance Digital — Bad After Sale Service

I purchased an Panasonic CUBE AC from your store located at Master Canteen Square, Bhubaneswar last saturday, i.e. on 30th March.
The AC was purchased in the name of Mr. Jagatjit Mohapatra to be delivered at 109, Soubhagyanagar, Near Delta Square, Bhubaneswar. Pincode: 751012

I was promised that the fittings shall be done at a max in 2 days time, i.e. the AC should have been fitted at my location by 1st of April.

This is the 6th of April now and with regret I have to inform you that there has been no action whatsoever from your side regarding the installation of the Air Conditioner. Everyday I make a call to your store with the number provided to me i.e.[protected] and I am promised that a technician shall be visiting me in a few hours.

No one visits my location and there is no updation whatsoever by any of your customer service representatives regarding the reason for the delay. When I call back in the evening, I am promised that the installation shall be carried out the next day.

This thing keeps on repeating and it feels like a complete fiasco to me now. This is completely unexpected from a reputed organization as yours and I am sad to say that if the service gets further delayed i may have to give a complaint to the Consumer courts.

If we purchase the AC in the summer and you send your representatives for installation in the winter, I believe there is no justification in purchasing the AC at all.

I sincerely believe that some stern action shall be carried out and the matter shall be resolved asap. Expecting a responsible, prompt reply.

Reliance Digital — Poor After Sales Customer Service

Sales people in Reliance Digital are only concerned with selling as many products as possible but not following up with customer issues after the sale. A consistent experience that I, my family and my friends had with Reliance Digital is that sales people follow you like puppies in the store and eager to help to get a sale. They will make you look like royalty and go to extremes to make you buy a product or products at their store. They will promise you that delivery and installation will happen within 48 hours and they will be available on the phone if there are any issues. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM!!! From our experience, deliveries always run a day late than promised if not longer. The delivery people always demand a tip even though the delivery is supposed to be free. The installation technician only shows up 3-4 days after the delivery. The technician most often has an add-on product/service that he tries to sell you [protection plan, stand, etc.]. If you buy a service plan from the technician, good luck getting the paper work from Reliance!

Bottom line, I, my family, and my friends have decided to boycott Reliance Digital after consistently poor service.
i have bought a 32 inch lcd tv and i am yet to hear from the installation guys!! the paper work took longer than the time taken for me to survey and decide which tv to buy!! i guess population explosion explains it all!!
