I purchased a Samsung handset on 18th August of worth 13149. The reliance digital retailer offered me a deal of paying 99 extra and get a Memory card(Sandisk 8 GB) of worth 449. I agreed and hence totally paid 13247. After billing, I was informed that they currently do not have Memory card at stock and I would get a call in 2-3 days to collect the memory card. I didnt get any call for 8 days. I called on 8th day to know if I can come and collect the memory card. But the retailer again said they do not have stock and would get in 2-3 days.
After 15 days I was frustrated and fed up of all this. I visited the shop in person to get my card. After making me wait for 20 mins, the representative said they do not have stock. I even offered them to return my extra paid money. But the representative said again I would get in 2-3 days. I was furious and demanded a Home delivery since shop was very far from my home.
The representative agreed and took my home address and promised me to deliver in 2-3 days. After that, till today I have not even received a call and my memory card.
I again do not want to call them and listen the same story. I believe I was betrayed by Reliance digital and need a help from Consumer court to get my due Memory card with some extra tax for all the torture I sustained. Was this information helpful? |
