I bought a Pureit water purifier from Reliance Digital, Kammanahali, Bangalore on Sunday- 1st July,2012 ,and was assured by the salesman that the same would be installed the very next day. Moreover, I awas also told that the Product has a 1 year Warranty.
I soon realized that buying the product from Reliance Digital was a HUGE HUGE mistake!!!
The next day I started following up with the call center of Pureit and the People at Reliance Digital here for installation. Nothing happened... no one came or even called. Next morning, I had to repeat the same procedure.. Finally the the Pureit technician arrived at 4:00 pm on 3rd July,2012. On inquiring about the delay, he showed me the text message he received just 2 hours ago. Which means, neither Reliance Digital nor Pureit Call Center bothered to do a followup on their sold products till I made a big Issue about it. On opening the boxed product at the time of installation, we also realised that the Instruction Manual says that the product only has 6 Months Warranty!! This also goes to show how well trained the staff at Reliance are about the Products they are selling.
After installation, that very night, water started leaking non-stop from the middle chamber. I called up the Pureit call center again and lodged a complaint, knowing very well that Reliance will not respond or support any customer complaints after sales. The Technician came the next day... "observed the product" declared that it had no problems and went. About one and half hours later, water started leaking again. I called up the technician immediately. He said he would come the next day. Today, he came again... "observed the product" again.... declared that it was alright and left. One and half hours later, water started leaking again!!!
Neither Reliance nor Pureit has been of any help. I am stranded with a malfunctioning water purifier and it feels like I paid and bought a huge headache!! Was this information helpful? |
