Yesterday i had gone to Reliance Digital (Avani Mall, Kolkata) to buy a Sumsung Galaxy Tab P6200. When I reached there there was a placard showing that a Polo sunglasses and a watch is free with the Tab. The concerned sales person Mr. Sanjeev Roy also said that its free with the Tab. while billing they said that the system is not taking the free gift so it cannot be issued.
While billing I asked the concerned sales person that first I want to check the Tab, but they didnt let me do that.
After billing when I open the seal in front of the sales person, the screen guard was not placed properly and it was peeling off, it also had bubbles on it. I asked them to give my another piece thay ignored and their tone suddenly changed as i had already paid for it. What the Store Manager Mr. Chakroborty said is that i can have the model which is displayed in the showroom but not the fresh one.
As it is a new tablet in market so its cover and the screen guard is not available in the market. I had never been so dissapointed, i left the store fumed.
i had specifically told them i want to check the sat before i pay for it. I also said the sales person that if there would be any defect in the product i would not take it and they have to give me a fresh one, which they promised to do so. But after i paid for it their attitude totally changed.
Please let me know now whats the remedy lies.
