[Resolved]  Reliance Fresh — Saffola Gold 5 litre pack 1 litre free not given

Hi,

I purchased a 5 liter safola gold pack from reliance fresh outlet in Najafgarh. The pack was having the offer one liter free with this pack. I thought the free content is inside the pack as the pack was placed alone in the rack and there was no other 1 liter pack present at that place. The reliance fresh executive billed the pack for me and never told about the missing one liter pack. This incident tuck place on 26 sep 2010. I today on 26th Dec 2010 went to the store looking for the same pack fortunately the pack was out of stock. I went to another store and purchased the same and the store provided me the one liter pack which was free with the 5 liter pack. With this I realized that the reliance fresh guys have cheated me that day and have not provided any one liter pack on that day. I tied to trace the bill for that purchase but was not able to find the same. I called the store on the number printed on the receipt of today’s purchasing. I narrated the incident to the executive on the other end. I explained him that I don't have the bill with me but I have the pack handy with me with the Bar Code which can help to trace my bill. The executive ask me to come to the store and assured me that they will provide the one liter free pack to me. I went to the store the guard asked me to stand near the gate and said this have happened with many customer, with this I realized that the picture is bigger then what I expected as a simple mistake. The store was not providing the free pack to any customer and were willing to give only when customer were coming back and asking for the same any how one executive approached me and asked what is the issue I narrated the issue to him he said ok he is sending the store manager to talk to me, after we minutes another gentle man came as asked what happened. I narrated the story again to him he said without the bill we cannot help. I told them that you can trace the product you have sold with bar code. I have with me the product why can't you give a try one this he went back another gentleman came and told me I am the store manager what is the issue. I was really frustrated at this point a store manager who should be addressing these concerns upfront was hiding behind and sending all those tom dick and harry to get rid of me. The most amazing was when he told me that, what is the proof that the pack belong to this store. He told you might have purchased this pack from outside and have got it billed over here. I did not know whether I should laugh at his foolishness or should fight with him. He knows this very well that the guard on the gate takes all of you belongings before you enter the store how is it possible for me to hide 5 liter cane and get it billed. Will the reliance Database support such product to get it billed? I told him that I made the payment through my credit card and can show him the details on this he told me that if you can give me the exact amount of the bill then I can track and can give the free pack. I simply asked him to provide me his employee ID or email ID he straightaway refused and said my name is Deepak Sharma do what ever you want to do with this, I asked if he can give in writing that this pack does not belonged to that store he denied any cooperation. In the freezing cold I came back home collected the amount from my credit card statement and told him the amount on which he said that he will call me in a short while...............the call never came as expected. I don't want any one liter free pack. I want a considerable action against such people who come into customer relationship business and does not understand what a customer means to them they should realize that, it is because of them they are getting there bread and butter. Reliance should teach such people a lesson which they should remember throughout their life because ultimately it is the brand that is taking the HIT.
