Reliance Hello — Non-replacement of faulty instrument
Sir I took a Reliance Land phone connection No.[protected] in February 2006. The service was excellent for the first 5 years. Whenever there was a compliant to the instrument I would take it to your franchise at Thodupuzha and it would be got rectified without any delay. However almost 6 months back the instrument developed a serious error and it stopped working. As usual I took the instrument to you Thodupuzha franchise and entrusted it to the man at the counter for repair and return. We told me it would take a maximum of two weeks for the replacement of the instrument as the kind I was using was out of stock. I called at the office more than a dozen times without any result. On most occasions the office remained closed. Yesterday I received a lawyers notice to the effect that legal action would be taken against me for breach of conditions of agreement. To verify my claim you may please examine the call history of the phone. You will find that phone ceased to work more than 6 months back. In fact it is I who should approach the consumer court for poor service/ absence of service. Under the circumstances I request the following 1. All revenue claims against the phone should be withdrawn 2. My security deposit may be returned treating the connection as cancelled with mutual consent with effect from the date on which it ceased to function Was this information helpful?
