we shifted are household goods from coimbatore to rajasthan. they said the same lorry will deliver the goods and unpacking was also included in the rate. but the service was extremely poor, many goods were damaged and they did not unpack the goods and the service people were very rude and not at all responsive to our phone calls. Sahara Packers And Movers — bad service

I had engaged "Sahara Packers and movers" to move my household furniture and other goods from Banjara Hills to Jubilee hills(distance of 3-4 kms) on the 24th of July, 2010. They took a long time to get the packing done, refused to pack the AC, transport the plants etc.

They did a very shoddy job at packing the goods and arranging them in their truck which resulted in 2 broken suitcases, several broken showpieces & crockery and they also ended up losing a vital part of the dismantable cupboard without which we are unable to set the cupboard back. They did not bother to unpack the various packages and just dumped everything on top of each other. Also since it was raining that day, a lot of the luggage got wet in the rain and they had no proper protection for their truck.

This is with reference to SAHARA PACKERS AND MOVERS, Hyderabad. We shifted from Hyderabad to Vijayawada on 19/02/2011 and we opted this company as packers and movers. When I called them they have sent one of their Executive - Kuldeep 17/02/2011. He came and had a look at the total stuff and estimated the value as Rs. 12,000/- and he told the 3 boys will come and pack each and every thing load them in the vehicle and later 2 boys will come along with the vehicle to Vijayawada and they will unload the stuff and unpack everything and place them in the new house. On these conditions I paid Rs. 500/- as advance. He told me once the packing is made and ready to start we have to pay the remaining amount Rs. 11,500/-. I said ok for that since the whole stuff will be packed by then and 2 boys will come along with the truck.

On the shifting day around 10'o clock 2 boys came instead of 3. I've asked where is the other one they said he will come later. Among these 2 guys one is Kishan the senior one who know little bit to pack and the other guy is a new one who dont know any thing and not at all interested to learn how to do work. They both came and with my family members effort by evening we have packed every thing and the truck came but not the 3rd guy. Even while loading we have helped them to load.

We took care of these 2 guys by offering snacks and tea twice, gave 200 to eat outside during lunch. Once the truck was loaded while billing this Kishan guy said the bill was Rs. 14,000/- and i said it was only Rs. 12,000/- and he called to the executive they bargained and i said no. I gave Rs. 300/- for dinner and Rs. 100/- to truck driver from private transport hired by these guys and which is not company one to these 2 guys who are coming along with the truck. They said they will start by 9:00 PM and will have dinner and reach to Vijayawada.

When I reached to Vijayawada in Bus arount 6:00 AM on 20/02/2011, the truck driver called me for address and when i went there some local drunken people are waiting along with him and this truck driver told me they will unload from the vehicle. When I asked for the packers and movers guys he said they didn't board the truck and told him a lie that they told to me that they will not come and gave Rs 1000/- to truck driver and asked him to find local coolie and make them unload.

When I called to Kuldeep or the office of the Sahara Packers and Movers they said they will not come to unload and very rude in responding to me and they have never told that they will come and unload.

This was total bluffing of customers and we suffered a lot for their act.

So I kindly request you u to take strict action

My name is Ajay. I am a customer of Sahara packers and movers Pune. I made a deal to send my household goods from Pune to Singrauli in M.P. with Sahara Packers and movers (Pune). They charged me Rs 9000.00 which I paid on the same day. They promised me to send my goods within 5 days at my destination but after continuous follow up for 12 days they send only half of my goods rest they said they will send in another three days but today it is been more then 20 days they have not send my goods. Now when I am calling they are neither ready to hear me nor replying in a good manner. I didn't took insurance of my goods so they damaged most of my products.They are using rude languages and said me to do whatever I can do. They said they will send my goods on their wish. I have been advised by them to file FIR in police station they are good to handle this situation also. The number of Sahara packers in Pune is [protected]. I complaint about the same in their head office Banglore but they are also least bothered about it. Their number is[protected]. Please assist.

my suggestion is just post a complaint to human right as well as
for the head of the department and you need to report to media also
that this things will come out and from public you will get support as well as
you will get your goods or money as per your things
