[Resolved] Samsung 1. 5 Ton Window Ac — Logic Board burnt up due to Short Circuit soon after General Service
I have been using a Samsung window AC, 1.5 Tons, for the past 5 years. The AC is almost used daily, and has worked trouble-free over the years. Last week, 2-3 hours after a paid general service conducted by Samsung, the AC suffered a short circuit, which burnt the logic board, filling the room with smoke. It's almost 7 days since I have called the support center and lodged a complaint; I get calls from Samsung service personnel, but no action from their side to repair the AC. Instead, I have been asked to fork out Rs. 800/- to replace the logic board. My question is simple. I had absolutely no complaints with the AC logic board for 5 years. How come the short circuit occurred within 2-3 hours of the General Service? It is not my mistake. Why should I pay to cover somebody else's mistake? Was this information helpful?

SAMSUNG/ WINDOW 2 TON AC — AC not working
I had bought 2 TON SAMSUNG WINDOW AC on 1st July 2008. This summer the AC is not working properly. Several complaints have been lodged but the SAMSUNG people are not responding satisfactorily. We are a senior citizen couple. My wife just out of hospital from surgery. The after sale service of SAMSUNG is very poor. I don't know what to do with this piece of junk I bought last year.
