I'm very very disappointed with the performance of my Samsung phone. I bought it in May 2008. After just 1.5 years o[censored]sage, and just after the warranty expired... it broke down beyond repair. In an instance (without any untoward incident happening on the phone), the phone heated up. And it continued to heat up whenever the battery is connected. The phone is grounded, and I was advised by Samsung's service center to just replace it, as repairing it would cost me 13, 000 pesos. This is the first time my mobile phone broke down in such a short span of time. I am especially disappointed with Samsung's quality. My phone never fell. It has never been soaked under water. Under normal condition and use, it broke down beyond repair in a record 1.5 years!!! And the service center (1) refused to consider it under warranty, (2) would only repair it at more than half the price of a new phone with the same model. If it were not a product defect, I am now seriously concered with Samsung 's quality, and would never buy another Samsung product again. I couldn't not believe that my 2, 100-peso basic Nokia phone is even more durable and reliable than my 21, 000-peso Samsung i780 phone!
