I orddered a samsung Galaxy I9100 knowing very well that I9100G is not at par with I9100 in terms of stability and performance ; The order was delivered and before i opened the box, i made sure to check that I9100 was printed on it. I Opened the box and found I9100G inside.I called Samsung customer care who told me that there is no difference btween I9100 and I9100G except the chipset. When i asked why I9100G is not printed on box, customer care had no answer.
The issues which i faced with I9100G were :
1. The top part of phone will heat up if you make a long call around 5 minutes or play game continuously for more than 5 minutes.
2. Use photo editor, the phone will freeze and you need to power it off.
3. Start clicking photos, and after 6 or 7 photos, phone will freeze and you get “camera failed” error.
4. While listening to music, the song will freeze and you will hear long zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz sound until you reboot the phone.
Spoke with samsung customer care again who told me to go to service center with the handset and i will be provided either a I9100 or full refund.
Now i have handed over my I9100g to samsung service center and waiting for an update from Samsung since 11th Feb. Samsung customer care keeps saying that they are waiting for response from their internal team and they dont at all look sensitive to their customers.
Needless to say i am very disappointed with what samsung is doing to its customers. The most disappointing thing is that samsung is selling I9100g in boxes which has I9100 printed, I dare samsung to do it in USA and see how it is banned there. Was this information helpful? |
