BOOKED A COMPLAINT FOR SERVICE/REPAIR OF LCD TV ON[protected] ON 17-08-08.SERVICE FEE OF RS 250? WAS QUOTED & WE AGREED TO PAY THE SAME.
NOBODY TURNED UP ON THE APPOINTED TIME & DATE[protected].
NEXT DAY[protected], ONE ENGINEER CAME & TOLD ABOUT NON-AVAILABILITY OF THE PART.
FOR 10 DAYS THERE WAS NO NEWS.WE FOLLOWED UP ON 28-08-08 & WERE ASSURED OF PROMPT ACTION.AGAIN NO ACTION.
WE RANG THEM UP ON 30-08-08 & THE ENGINEER CAME.
HE DEMANDED A SUM OF RS 1500/ & ALSO AGREED TO REFUND 50% OF THIS IF WE AGREED TO PART WITH THE OLD DEFECTIVE PART(POWER SUPPLY).REASONS ?
WE DID NOT AGREE TO PAY THE UNREASONABLE AMOUNT AS THE AMOUNT QUOTED & BEING CHARGED WERE QUITE DIFFERENT.FURTHER, THE QUALITY OF SERVICE WAS VERY POOR/DELAYED.
THE LCD TV HAS BEEN NON-FUNCTIONAL FOR MORE THAN 2 WEEKS.CHARGES ARE UNREASONABLE.
