[Resolved]  Samsung Lcd Tv — Frequent repairs in two years of purchase

I purchased 37 inch Samsung LCD TV on 7th sept 2008.The said set went in for repairs on 6th march 2010, that is within a gap of one and half year of purchasing the tv.The display card was replaced which cost me RS 4487/.It was a great shock to me when i was told that the entire card need to be replaced instead of the faulty part.Moreover the card replaced also did not have any guarantee of more than a month which means you yourself dont assure the quality of the part replaced.

I convinced myself thinking that the electronic items sometimes need such repairs.But to my utter dismay the power supply of the tv stopped on 26 th of November,2010.The engineer once again told me that the power card needs to be changed and it was more shocking to know that this time both the cards, that is the power and the display cards need to be changed and the total cost would be Rs 6000/.Here I wish to mention that the display card replaced on 6th of march 2010 had also broke down for which i had paid Rs 4487 just 6 months back.

I had no alternative but to go ahead with the repairs and bear the necessary cost.

Now i feel cheated because the LCD tv ( which normally depriciates in value )which i had purchased for rs 64000/ now costs me Rs 75000/ which you will agree is not a small amount.What further worries me is the future cost of repairs that would add to the cost.

Now you have to answer me as to why I or for that matter anyone else should go for Samsung suppossed to be a branded product and why not go for Sansui which would have costed me half the cost of your product .
I went in for your product thinking that it will give me the best product than any other brands because you i suppose believe in the quality.

Secondly what guarantee do you give me that my LCD tv will not require further repairs especially when i have already spent rs 10000 within 2 yrs of buying the tv.
