[Resolved]  Samsung Refrigerator Model No. Sr - 32 Emb — no repairs of the refrigerator in 3 month

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator model no. SR-32 EMB 7yrs back from RR enterprise Meerut. We now live in Ghaziabad. The fridge stopped working in mid march 2009. My husband contacted Samsung customer care on[protected] while i was out of town, who sent us their local engineer Mr Naveen Kaushik mo. no. [protected] who after inspecting the fridge told us to get it repaired privately from him as it was 7 yrs old. HE MISLEAD THE CLIENT WHO WANTED THE COMPANY TO REPAIR IT. He sent us the technician Mr shahnawaz mo. no. [protected] who without trying to find the fault changed the compressor and filled the gas. The original compressor was 1/6 hp and he put in low capacity one of 1/8 hp and on confronting told us that 1/6 hp compressors are no more available in the market. He charged us Rs 3600 for the compressor and 500 labor charges without receipt even while we asked for it. The fridge worked for a week n stopped there after. He came again only to fill the gas. Again the fridge worked n stopped after a week . This happened 8 times but to no avail. I came back to town n contacted customer care on 9 may 2009. They gave me a complaint no. [protected] but nobody came to fix the fridge. Fed up i called a local mechanic who after putting in the pressure meter told that the leakage was from the freezer but did not touch the fridge coz it was being handled by the company. Mr Shahnawaz found the leakage in the aluminium pipe of the freezer. he fixed it with a chemical solution. But again the fridge stopped working after two days. I contacted customer care again on 23 may 2009 who put me to their supervisor who put me to local person Ms Anupama who put me to Mr Pramod mo. no. [protected]. He promised me to give me a replacement in half hour, till the time he gets the fridge repaired. He gave me mo. no for contact. I called him seven times when the replacement did not arrive on 23 May 2009 but he did not pick up my call. I was told by Mr Naveen that they have working on Sunday so I called Mr. Pramood on Sunday. He picked up my call on 7th attempt only to shout at me that it was his private time and he will not do anything till Monday and asked he to keep the phone down.

In three months we have thrown the food items worth of thousands apart from the mental and monitary harassment.
We also ate the poisonous food smeared by the leak of the gas.

Very true Samsung company service is very worst..I too have same model refregerstor. It's thermostat was not working..They have washed their hands saying company is not manufacturing it now..Finally got it done from local person..Very bad service
