I wish to complain about the pathetic state of customer service provided by Samsung. I purchased a Samsung washing machine in September 2009 and from the time I bought it I have been facing problems. I have been calling the customer service number since the month of April 2010 to get my washing machine serviced but my pleas for a technician to visit is ignored time & again. In the month of April a technician Mr. Amit Gupta did visit, however he was unable to identify the problem (the clothes are getting rust stains on them) and said that a senior technician has to look into the problem. In spite of repeated calls thereafter to the customer service center ([protected]) they are informing me that someone will give us a call back in half an hour but it has been months and no one is interested in calling us back. We keep calling them and their standard excuse is that the service center will call us back in HALF AN HOUR but no one bothers to call. I have spoken to supervisors in the call center who said my call will be returned but hours have moved to days and days have moved to months and I am still waiting for a call back. If you pull up the call history you will see how many times I have called this month alone.
I also do have a number of a Mr. Vishwajeet ([protected]) who keeps telling us he will visit but he has not come and it has reached a stage where he is now ignoring our calls. As a result of this delayed response, our warranty is also now expired (although the ticket is still open as we launched it in April and again in August & September). I am tired of all the excuses and the lack of coordination between the customer call center and the service center. I am seriously affected by this behavior and it is causing me mental stress.
Best way to bring this to notice I guess is now to put this up on social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook etc and let everyone know the sorry state of affairs Samsung is. Was this information helpful? |
