Samsung India — Pathetic quality of Window AC
Dear All,I purchased two Samsung AC's last year on Mar 2, 2010 against invoice 14616 from Gemsons international, 67 South Patel Nagar Market, New Delhi, one Window and one split. To my utter dismay and surprise, I found that out of the two the 1.5 ton window is AC is not working.
I registered a complaint with customer care (#[protected] on May 12, 2011). Samsung engineer came and diagnosed that the AC gas has got leaked and needs to be repaired out of warranty. It pains me that on one hand after so much of research and deliberations, the same has been found unreliable, while on the other, I am also required to shell out extra money so soon to get the same fixed.
The Samsung workshop guys took the AC to their workshop on May 16, 2011 to repair the same. On May 17, 2011 I got a call that not only has the AC gas got leaked, the condenser of the brand new AC also needs to be replaced and I need to shell out Rs 3600 now.
The customer care of Samsung hardly care for their customers, there is no senior person to answer my queries. My mails to their customer care remains still unanswered. Even after making me spend Rs 3600 they can give me only 1 month warranty, thats horrible. Even a roadside workshop gives a 6 months warranty.
I am flabbergasted that how can an AC which has been so sparingly used meet this fate. This experience has totally shaken my confidence on Samsung products and I strongly recommend everyone never to consider Samsung AC for that matter any Samsung Products as their quality is highly unreliable and is only as good as any roadside workshop.

samsung / window ac — Pathetic Service
Following is sequence of events1. Requst for Service on 29-Mar-2010 with Samsug call centre. Was given Request number (BP) [protected].
2. Technician from Samsung came and did service the AC for which 250 rupees paid.
3. I did observe later, that swing was not moving as result called Samsung on 6-April-2010 and technician came on 7-April-2010. Technician came and fixed without any charge (that too after I gace him the history)
4 After sometime the swing stopped working and also the AC remote stopped working.
I agree for prompt service but the quality of service is pathetic. Not sure if this technique used for revenue generation.
