We have a Sansui projection TV and it has been not working for almost a year now. Multiple calls to the service centre and local sansui dealers did not yield any result.
The video suddenly disappeared one fine day while watching a moie. The TV was not even too frequently used. They said that the power box feeding electricity to the picture tube needed t be replaced and since this was a different model of projection tv of which only a handful had come to india, they do not have spare parts. So far they have not ordered for the spare part and my 60000 Rs has gone almost down the drain, with their not even being any resale value for a non-functional tv.
Please someone help me teach some consumer rights related legalities to these guys

I presented a sansui PJ42 multiplex projection tv to my parents. I bought it for RS.69000. It has exactly the same complaints. Multiple efforts to get it repaired were unsuccessful. After putting in so much money, it cannot be disposed just like that. It cannot be exchanged either.
I have given up hope of getting the tv repaired more than one year back.But I really want the manufacturers to be punished .

AC motor of outdoor unit
I purchased AV through flipkartabout 3 month ago. and now it is not working, so i submitted the complaint about that after which a mechanic came and told me that the motor of outdoor unit is damaged.and he told me that he'll come back after getting motor in 2 days.
bt its been now 4rth day and no body is ppicking up the phone...
