[Resolved]  Saravana Stores, T Nagar, Chennai — Worst Customer Service

I bought a Dining table from Saravana Stores in Chennai. The table being a foreign made, the shops representatives were supposed to come to my house to set it. They delivered it the next day itself. Instead of 4 packages, 3 packages were delivered. It has been 2 weeks now and no one turned up with the 4th piece. By this time I walked down to their shop 3 times and made thousands of call. The answer I got from them is..."they are on the way,Sir" .... "they are next to your house Sir"....."We will come in an hour sir".

I would suggest you to buy stuffs from a reputed shop rather than going to such down to earth shops. Happy Shopping.

I also got into a similar situation after buying a dressing table from Saravana Furniture T.Nagar. Every day I've to make hundreds of calls, but the scoundrels sitting there are . I bought it almost one month back and till now they have not shown up to set it. That guy's name is Murugan.

I would suggest you people to buy from some reputed store preferably managed non-Tamil people. I[censored] r very keen to buy from Saravana give full cash only after the time of delivery and fittings.
hello sir, i bought a watch from saravana stores .i wear my new watch and kept my old watch in my pocket and i donw to the 3rd floor.urs staffs check my pant pocket and took my old watch and also check my bill for my new watch.after that, they confirmed my old watch was mine.but they spoke unnecessary and also use senseless words, they are irritating me, im also compliant ur other staff, hm hes also not response to me...im totally upset, . and please take some actions to ur staffs and teach them to how to response to ur customers, im not feel happy shopping today.sorry saravana stores .ur several staffs are very worst when compared to others shops in t nagar...please correct this otherwise u ll loss ur customers one by one like me.thank to read my request...
Some staff working with the stores are really irritating and dull heads. I suggest people to look for good shops where value for money and customer satisfaction is available more. Saravana stores is ill managed and the boys employed are dump heads.
I just got into a similar situation. Had bought some large number of home furnitures from Saravana stores and paid the delivery charges. It has been one week now, and the pieces has not shown up. I also make 1000s of calls even to get through on phone and some 10 of them gets connected and 9 of them gets hung up arbitrarily without even listening to you. The last one which got picked up says "they are on the way sir" and they never show up. This has happened three times already. What a wastage of money and time. I am sick of this.

It is true that Saravana sells some furniture cheaply compared to other stores, but their worst customer service makes it not worth the money saved and in fact you will be the loser in the end anyway.
Very worst services. I won't go and purchase any items in this store in my life. I have purchased System Table and they deliver the table at mid night 1:30 PM, we did not regognise the table delivered with damage(Two wheels are damaged and it is broken one side of the table, after 5 min we got to know). Immidiately we called delivery man, he told that will be replaced with new table tomorrow. After a day we keep on dialing the store & spoke to all the guys who ever take the phone(All the guys replied you case has been registered will replace with in day). We are still speak to them and finally they are asked us to return the damaged table and take new one(This service we need to do). I am from velacherry, if i take this item in my place i won't be face this kind of issues. I never choose saravana store or saravana selvarethinam in my life to purchase any item.
POOOOOOOREST SERVICE:
Like many, i also brought a office table for my office 2 weeks back. they said that it will be assembled after 3 to 4 days but till today nobody has come to assemble it. the phone is not being picked up and even if they pick it up, irresponsible answers are given. What can i do? should i sit in the floor in my office???
just to save a few hundred rupees...i have lost my peace and valuable time...
I bought Samsung AC from saravan store and it is not working at all and when i called customer service of samsung they told to cotnact saravana store since it is not even a month old. but when i reached saravana store they never responded and it is really a damn shop. bull
I had also purchased a Computer Table costing Rs. 2520 and a 2-door bero rosewood colour costing Rs. 6961/-. Both the pieces of furniture were delivered but computer table was a defective piece and I made complaint immediately. The 2-door bero's mirror was broken which is noticed after opening by the setting technician. Although 7 days had passedd, Saravana Stores " Super Store" did not bother to replace the defective pieces. I feel we made a big mistake to purchase from Saravana Stores which is advertised with false promises. Saravana Stores should have some standard for quality or atleast replace the defective pieces after complaints are given. Who will help the poor consumers who are cheated by Big Brand Name Stores like Saravana Stores ?????

I bought a cot in Saravana stores in t.nagar (madley road) on 19.02.2012. with in 1 week cot was broken. cot rate is Rs.7600+180for delivery charges 50 for fitting charge 30 for handling charge totally Rs.7860/- is waste. my stomach is burning, god will take action aganist them soon. you are all going to see with in days.
I am Pradipta Kumar Nayak working for AdityaBIrla Money, recently on date 29/09/2012 visited to New Saravana stores (129, Usman road, T.nagar, chennai-17) to purchase a wireless bluetooth headset and asked the sales person to show different bluetooth models wherein I can receive calls and also access music, however the sales guy sold the bluetooth stating that I can access all my requirements, even given a commitment of 1yr of waraanty on this. When I opened the box for test purpose after paying the full amount of Rs 742.00 at that particular counter I found it as wrong, because music option is not available to that device. I asked the same again to the sales person, but he directly refused to change the device and behaved rudely . Even I requestd him to exchange the device and was ready to pay the extra amount for my required one, but he didn't listen me at all . I would like to mention one thing that, when I asked the sales person to provide the mail-id of their manager, one of the guy told me its www.microsoft.com and even they were not ready to provide any information about their manager .
I have never seen such a bad service ever before, some of the people who are working there are not good enough with the customers and not even ready to listen the customers query. I am requesting the management to take necessary action over my issue and try to resolve it asap.
I am Benedict Reno from Velachery chennai. I have purchased house hold articles from Saravana stores (T-Nagar) Chennai on 01/12/2012 and they assured to deliver all the things to my home by door delivery system so they collected transportation, lifting, fixing charges all at the time of billing but really very worst delivery system. Still I am suffering because I have not received my paid articles and I approached them directly in the shop but their customer care is very very worst.

VERY VERY WORST DELIVERY SYSTEM AND ONCE PAID FOR THE ARTICLES DEFINITELY THEY NEVER MIND ABOUT OUR REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY (Example to Say DAMAGES, DELAY IN DELIVERY, PARTICULARLY DOOR DELIVERY)

Namely one of the manager is standing in the first floor opposite to the billing counter but he is really useless and I request management please select a good approachable and customer oriented managers in the shop. Because of their worst customer care, really the shop name (Good will) is totally damaging.

I am requesting the management please take necessary action on my issue and resolve the same at the earliest.

My husband and I purchased a 2 door wood cupboard from Saravana Stores in T Nagar, Chennai.
We are truly APPALLED and DISAPPOINTED with the customer service (OR A CLEAR LACK OF) by this store.
We ordered the item on 30 June 2013. The delivery was supposed to be on 3 July 2013. We only received the goods on 5 July 2013 (after my husband made about a 100 calls to the store). Our installation was supposed to be on 4 July 2013. It is now 6 July 2013 and the item is still sitting in our kitchen floor waiting to be installed.
The worst thing is not the delay but the clear lack of communication and commitment regarding delivery and installation. My husband and I took time off work and have been sitting at home for 3 days waiting for the delivery and installation of this one cupboard. We purchased this cupboard for a few thousand rupees but we are now in the process of making arrangements for it to be installed by outside carpenters which is going to cost a couple of thousand rupees. Is Saravana store or the highly incompetent staff that they employ going to bear the costs of the installation through the private carpenter? We have one suggestion for the management of Saravana Stores: instead of keeping your store opened and ripping customers off and incurring the wrath of many customers, the government should put just a seal on your store because you have caused nothing but grave inconvenience and distress.

And by the way, Rathna Stores and Big Bazaar do not have such crappy service like Saravana Stores.

First of all we have to blame the actors who are coming for the super super store advertisement to invite us to purchase on this kind of stores (mainly Surya, he is ready to act any type of non-sense adds for making money)
It is true. The Saravana stores employees do not know how to talk to customers..poor service.. low priced items..low quality not only in product but in those fellows also. Better don't go there.
I'm a regular customer of saravana stores. Could you please start accepting 'Sodexo (Both Meal pass & Gift pass)' in all your branches. As it will be very useful for many of IT employee and also you can gain lots and lots of customers.
We too bought a dining table at Saravana. They promised that woodness products are good and the service will be immediately as well.As soon as the dining table came home, all the chairs were broken. When asked to come to have a look, they neglected it for 2 months.. then after putting so much pressure, they said the service charge to come home is 300 plus we have to pay for welding the chairs and also pay for the truck to take the chairs and bring them back. Now I also notice that the table is also shaking :( WORST EVER SERVICE I HAVE EVER SEEN.. SUGGESTION IS TO NEVER BUY ANYTHING THERE...
Worst service at Saravana Furnitures, the worst shop i have seen, would never ever suggest this stupid shop to any one. Almost all staff are dumb heads, we bought for over one lakh
at this stupid shop, no service, no fitting nothing is done. I made

Very bad service I have purchased sofa 3+3 they assured it will deliver on 6th Jan... Now if I call and enquire about that dealer telling sofa not yet ready shop person telling vehicle repair... That much big shop having no other vehicle... Along with that I purchased a LCD TV stand while delivery they told next day fitter will come...be two days still nobody has come if we contact that fitter he is talking rubish he is telling I can't come it will take two or three days to come... Before purchase of items they will please and tell yes to all after billing they taking all rubishes... Because they won't return out money ...like robbers they are running a shop... Please whoever reading this don't go to Saravanan store hereafter ..don't do mistake like me ..
I went to store to buy a cordless phone on 19th jan 2016.There was very poor response while asking about the rates.Staffs working in that desk behaved so bad infront o[censored]s.Denied talking to us and went with other person working there by making fun o[censored]s.If this continues definitely you will miss many customers like me.kindly ask them to behave well infront of the customers and do the needful.Thank you for taking your time and reading this.I hope you will not allow your staffs to repeat the same.
