[Resolved]  Savings Account — ATM Transaction Dispute

To Whomever concern,
On 04/08/2009 I went to withdraw an amount of Rs.15000/- at Canara Bank ATM, GNT Road, Red Hills but the ATM was put out so tried to withdraw the same amount at Andhra Bank ATM close by. But there I didn't receive any money. After an hour when tried to withdraw cash from Corporation Bank at Koyambedu, I discovered the amount 15000/- has been already debited from my account. After consulting with the customer supporrt I directly went to the Canara Bank, Koyambedu branch to submit a letter regarding the same on 05/08/2009. Without proper response they asked me to contact the Andhra Bank branch at Red Hills, to submit the copy of the letter, when went there they said, they have no authority over this and directed me to the Zonal Office of Andhra Bank at Parrys. There they said they have no hand in this transcation and again directed me back to Canara Bank. Where i was asked to come on 08/08/2009 which is 4days later, then on 12/08/2009 again 4days later and finally on 17/08/2008. While inquiring they informed its a 10days process and its already been 10days now yet I have'nt received my money back even after submitting all the details asked for. On a single day I was made to travel from Koyambedu to Red Hills to Prrys and back to Koyambedu, which is stressing and time consuming due to False and Incorrect information. I'm totally disappointed at the technical deformities, unclear processes and the poor customer service I recieved. I'm in very much need of this money to pay my rent and othe bills. I need clear explanation and compensation along with the amount which has been debited wrongly(15000/-) for the stress I'm being put through and time wasted.
