[Resolved] SBI ATM Complaints — In process of withdrawing 5000 from ATM, automatically transferred as donation to Shri Jagannath Temple Puri | |||
I here undersigned would like to bring your kind notice that I am an account holder of State Bank of India, Bileipada branch bearing the a/c no. [protected]. I have visited the SBI ATM situated at Joda Market-II, Joda, Keonjhar to withdraw amount of Rs.5, 000 from my account on 15th May 2010 at 18:10. However I was surprised to see that a statement come out from ATM machine which stated that the amount which I had entered for withdrwal, has been credited in fabour of Shri Jagannath Temple Puri as donation and no money came out from the ATM machine. Whereas I was withdrawing the money for my own expense. I am also surprised that how Rs. 5,000 has been transferred from my account to Shri Jagannath Temple Puri a/c bearing with the no. [protected] (Transaction ID:4686, ATM ID:S1CN[protected] while withdrwaing money from ATM machine?. Further, while enquire the account no ([protected]) of Shri Jagannath Temple Puri at the SBI branch office, it was found that the account does not exist and it's an invalid account no, although the money was debited from my account. When I approached the branch Manager of SBI , they said that they are helpless in this regard. I have also deposited written complain but there is no response for my written communication sent to both bank and the trust so far. I belong to a poor family presently working as an employee for a private company at Bileipada at the monthly salary of Rs. 9000 pm. As I am not intended and affordable to donate above said amount to the trust, request your intervention in helping me to get the refund of amount of Rs. 5,000 to my above said a/c at earliest possible for which we would be very thankful to you. if this is right then send a complaint to rbi banks ombudsmen you will find the email address on rbi website.
It a fraud or technical error on the bank's side which they have to rectify.
