[Resolved]  SBI Cards — SBI Privilege Circle Program

Privilege Circle prog details, i was told that i would be getting the following after paying Rs 6180:

1. Holiday Voucher for 3days & 2nt's to any of the 40 locations.
2. Airline Ticket one way for 1 person
3. Joining Gift - a watch worth Rs 3090
4. Bonus Reward pts of 500

I was not told about the 4months of date of dispatch clause and 1 month in advance notice and then there was exclusion period against every location stuff which actually left 1-2 months period only or very few sectors. Still i managed to avail this offer and was satisfied

The Giordano watch is available otherwise for Rs 400 in independent SBI card offer. It was a fake and a local made and not the Giordano brand. There was no warranty card or bill with it. i'm not happy or satisfied with it.

I was not told about the taxes and surcharges that would be born by me when i take the airline ticket offer. The airline tickets cost is arnd Re1 or 0 and the tax is more than Rs 2500??? what logic is this???? why is the customer being fooled??? i dnt wish to avail this offer

The bonus pt's have still not been added into my account and when i inquired abt it i was told that my card is a cash bk card and that no bonus pts are calculated for your account. If the same was the case, why was i not informed before??? Also till date i've received no cash back even after doing transactions.

I want my money back and some action taken as i'm not satisfied/happy with the service or this offer as it is totally misleading, else i'll move to the consumer court. There was also no option of returning the kit which i received after 2months of paying the money.

sbi/privilege circle program — fake giordano watch

sbi card is sending fake watches using the brand name of giordano
as part of their privilege circle progamme and taking Rs.6000 against it. please help me out regarding this.

I am receiving daily calls from SBI card. when someone tries to sell something so hard, its obvious that there is some catch. With so much effort, they are turning off the customers. Even genuine offers we are not interested. What interest does SBI card have in its customer paying airline taxes?? What is the fun in giving a 400/- watch for 3000/ of money of credit card trnasactions they why do all this onsense.

I remeber ealier when I was a diners card memeber. everything was so genuine and polite and no pushing of sales person. Why now everything has become so greedy

Lets put a stop to this nonsense...

SBI PREVILEGE PROGRAM

The program seems total fraud with customers, the offer was made through phone after several calls from promotors saying for and on behalf of sbi card, and it was agreed by me to accept any after going through the written document for the scheme as there was very fast, unclear voice conversation not able to catch fully, but I never received any written document to go through. Instead received a courier on 30 th april with welcome kit having a wrist watch, domestic airline ticket request voucher for one way one person, holiday booking request voucher for 3 days and 2 nights one person.
The offers are not as such told earlier e.g.Air fare was committed understanding full fare, but the kit offers fare only and taxes r to be born by passanger, Now days most of Air lines r offering Rs. 1/ to 0/ fare +taxes about 3000/ in domestic lines, so what is the logic behind? Also the choise of station and time to visit is restricted and dosent suit.Similarly the Holiday voucher is open for places with restriction of tourist season and places.Also the GiordanoWatch offered as FREE GIFT seems local worth of Rs 300/ to 400/ in open market was told for Rs 3000/ .
Thus the things are mis leading unclear and one sided so not acceptable. Countrary an amount of Rs 6067/ + intrest with EMI has been charged to my bill for SBI CARD generated on 8th May 2009without any purchase or availing service. IS IT JUSTIFIED ? So it is un authorised debit from card. Is there any one to check such frauds?
For all above grevances I had a call with customer care /help line phone no.[protected] on 22nd May with some lady executive to clerify and reversal of offer as it is not acceptable under the term and conditions as laid but it was very unexpected as she discouraged with un cooperative attitude and finished that no options are available as 30 days has been lapsed after receiving the previlage kit, Still I couldnt understand the magic of 30 days while I received the kit on 30 th April (22 days ago) throughBlue Dart PU date29th April.while earlier it was told that offer is reversible if not agreed.but 30 days formula
was never told.
The all above is never expected from SBI /allied SBI CARD management?
So nothing as offered is accepted to me and want to reversed the amount accounted for.and appeal to authority" not to trap and extract".If not the case shall be forwarded to consumer forum/competent authority of SBI/Govt Of india.
I also have the same kind of experience from SBI..i also got a kit from SBI. And Now I am also getting the same response from SBI executives.
I can imagine what this customer had gone through. Even I was approached by SBI Cards with the same offer. They told me that I was one of the few selected for this offer. Right from the first call I felt something was amiss so I further went into details. First I was told all the resorts were 5 star resorts.When I asked for a double confirmation the call center executive said they were all 4 and 5 star resorts. When I insisted if atleast all were 4 star then he said actually they were 3 & 4 star properties. On further quizzing he settled down to only beautiful properties and no star rating.

Fortunately after all this hog wash I did not choose to accept the offer. Now I think it was a wise decision. If you read the terms and conditions, SBI has clearly stated that SBI will in no way be responsible for teh quality of teh services or in case of any grievances. Then why on this earth is SBI trying such gimmicks under its banner? It only goes to show how the pressures of making more business has affected even a solid and reputed bank like SBI.

Customers should not fall into their trap of international holidays at Rs. 6000.
I availed this offer & went to Munnar(Sterling Resorts). The properties offered in this program are vintage & it is actually difficult to get bookings there but through bank & Plat5/Heritage Holidays i manged to get bookings there. Thanks
I have also the same type of experience..only I have recd confirmation on phone after emails and phones ...still I have not recd any email or letter from heritae holidays...
I am totally fed up with the sbi credit cards service . in one instance i even requested for the cancellation of the card and they are not obliging to do this . recently they offered the privilage circle program and all the details were explained thru phone that too during office hours and when i requested for details to be sent thru mail, they clarified that it will sent thru courier and if not liked can be cancelled, but now when i contacted the Privilage circle executives to cancel this offer, they say order cannot be cancelled.
is this a daylight robbery by the sbi cards, ? Totally a bad experience, they are looting our Democracy.

i have decided not to pay the amount of Rs 6067 .

i had claimed for my refund 3months ago. i have send the kit back to sbi to the desired address as per given by the customer care representative. (miss Komal Verma). They have given me the confirmation that they have received the kit back (send back by DHL Currier service).
