Respected Sir,
kindly ensure this as a request, of running adequate trains from bangalore to madurai or via madurai at least during the festival season or attaching additional coaches. This has been a problem for a very long time. kindly do favour for this diwali season. the agents get a bulk booking and the others are not able to book their tickets either through internet or the counters and regarding tatkal also the agents get their bulk booking. Three months advance booking is a waste during the festive season for the route from bangalore to madurai, the reservation is regretted within 10 minutes, and no special or additional trains also.this problem creates a mess during the festival seasons. Sir, please, please, please, please, please and kindly kindly do favour for the passengers from bangalore to madurai at least during the festival seasons and especially for this diwali. I am waiting for ur good answers.

Its really true that there is no direct train between Bangalore and Tirunelveli, Nagercoil, Trivandrum though Hosur. There are lots of people residing in bangalore form nellai and south travancore who are suffering .This route is the shortest and will reduce the travel time by 6-7 hours.
Respected sir,

There is no proper train to Nagercoil from Bangalore through Madurai, Tirunelveli.
1. The train which travels through Kerala takes 19 hours in which we use to waste one full day.
That train reaches Nagercoil in the evening and in case if we are planning to go home, we have
to waste one day and a night journey by train.
2. The train which goes to Tuticorin is not convenient to people travelling to Tirunelveli and Nagercoil.
We have to get down in Vaanchi Maniyaachi station and it is very difficult to commute from there
to Nagercoil.
If there is a proper train to Kanniyakumari through Madurai from Bangalore, then it would improve in many ways:
1. Government can improve tourism to Madurai, Kanniyakumari
2. Government revenue will increase with this transportation
3. People will be benefited with good transportation
4. Senior citizens will feel comfortable in their journey between Kanyakumari and Bangalore

Kindly consider our request and provide us this support.
Thanks in Advance.
Hello,

Yes, i am agree with the comments given by passengers.

Ministers of Railways should consider the request made by the people as everyone knows there is no direct train between Bangalore and kanyakumain.

Would request concern authorities should take this mater with concern people to get the think done.

We want a Direct Train between Bangalore and Kanyakumari via Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Salem, Hosur. This is a Long pending Demand.
Its better to introduce 2 more trains in this route.
1. Tirunelveli - Bangalore via Madurai (without reaching Trichy)
2. Kanyakumari - Bangalore via Nagercoil, Madurai (without reaching Trichy)

If possible they can also add another train from Trivandrum to Bangalore via Madurai, Trichy...
It is important to run a train from Bangalore to Kanyakumari/Nagercoil on daily basis.
The existing Mysore -Tuticorin train can be bifurcated extended @ Maniyachi Jn the smaller component rakes (to cover the shorter distance) can go to Tuticorin with a separate engine & the main bulk can proceed South with the main engine.
In addition designated bogies can be attached to any Bangalore -Chennai train to be linked with the weekly Chennai Central- Nagercoil train via Jolarpettai Jn& also bogies from Nagercoil to Bangalaore in the return train on Sundays, to link up with any Chennai-Bangalore train.
There are so many trains going to Kerala from various destinations, why not have the same yard stick for Karnataka & Tamilnadu?
No one is bothered.
Please introduce the direct train to nagercoil/kanniyakumari(via Madurai). This is a Long pending Demand.
We all face the same problem. If a train is facilitated between Bangalore to Nagercoil via Hosur Salem, many people will be benefied.

Please do the needfull. Almost 20% people as a whole who live in Banglore, Salem, Hosur, Krishnagiri are from south tamilnadu.

Please take this forward and requesting for a justice.

Regards
Pradeep
Railways have totally neglected the Bangalore - Nagecoil route inspite of thousands of people commuting daily through this route.

Even a group from Hosur is trying their level best by staging different way of protest in recent times for getting a train but all in vain.

There is a strong rumour that, the bus mafia is objecting for a new train in this route which could affect their business to a large extend.

Would request the concerned to kindly do a justice.

Regards,
Praveen
Please do the needful.
Please introduce Bangalore Nagercoil train service Via Madurai, Thirunelveli .

Central Railway — introduce new train

Empty rack of 12 coach waiting for 30 to 35 minuts on CST just for nothing between 7.30 to 8.13 hrs. After waiting such a long time it get green signle for KHAPOLI Local at 8.13 hrs. The same can be used as a one local train for Thane. As there is no Thane bound train during 7.33 hrs to 8.07 hrs. in evening. In a pick hours a if train stoped for 30 to 35 minuts is a national loss. If the same rack can be used as a addition train for Thane in between above period. This will usefull to local peoples. Because during this there are so many long distance trains are there. But travelling on these trains is very difficult for local pesssangers in between CST and Thane.
we want the train for Bangalore to Nagercoil. Pls take a action for that
Regards
prabin
It is disappointing to note that a weely train is introduced between Bangalore and Nagercoil in the 2010-11 railway budget. It would be welcome to have a daily train rather than weekly as this train cannot meet the demands of the people of south Tamil Nadu (Madurai, Tirunelveli, Nagercoil and Kanyakumari region). Do railways conduct market survey before introducing new trains? if so i wish to know if there is no demand for a daily train. Instead working in large interest of the people, railways work under pressure with regard to new trains. While several new trains introdeced to Kerala and Andhra Pradesh from Bangalore SR and SWR are not caring for the people of Tamil Nadu. I request the concerned authorities to consider the following:

1. A daily night train between Bangalore and Nagercoil via Madurai

2. A daily day time super fast train between Bangalore and Madurai

3. A daily night train between Mysore and Rameswaram via Madurai

4. Increase in speed of Mysore Tuticorin express and 15 minutes stoppage of the train at Madurai on both directions.
5. Increase in number of coaches in Mysore Tuticorin express

This will help the people of south Tamil Nadu and provide better connectivity from Bangalore to south Tamil Nadu.
Do you think, they will introduce new train between bangalore and nagercoil with proper timings??? NEVER as long as they get money from private bus companies, , , this will never happen, , please dont waste your time by posting these kind of requests. They are very much aware that the demand for bangalore and Nagercoil are HUGE, and ofcourse they get huge money from private bus companies.
