[Resolved]  Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card — Credit card dues

Hi,

I am V.Ramakrishnan and I had a credit card from Standard Chartered bank till Sep 2007.I have severed the renewal of the credit card as on Sep 2007 with no dues.

The bank has been calling me during August/September in 2009 asking me pay 11384//- towards due on the credit card and also sent me a letter from their legal officer.

To cross verify, i has asked for the duplicate statements which has specific information about my non-renewal.

I had sent them an email asking for confirmation on this and they had replyed that they have reversed my dues and confirmed no-dues. Also, my provident fund amount which was due from the govt. was also debited to my account because of non-payment.

But my name has been added to the defaulters list because of which i am unable to get loans.

Please advice to delete my name in the list and also take legal action for compensation.
