[Resolved] Standard Chartered Bank — Fraud/Cheating | |||
Dear Sir, Standard Chartard Bank is simply cheating. I am a customer for SCB credit card for more than a year. Initially I took only my card and later on they advised me to take the supplimentary card. We did a transaction in railway booking through the supplimentary card and later on cancelled the tickets. In the mean time, I have also paid the minimum charges which was asked to be paid. It is surprising that I received a new statement today asking for paying interest + late fee charges. When I called the customer care they told me that as the transaction was made in the supplimentary card, they can't adjust. I feel the reasoning is totally ridiculous and it was never told to me that I have to make separate payments when the card was issued. When there is a transaction they do charge against my primary card but they can't take the payment if it is paid to the primary card for the supplementary card. Also I asked for the username and password (they entered my phone incorrectly) and I was promised that I will get the details in 5 days, which never happened.
