[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Rude collection agency! , Sending wrong statements and harrasing on phone.

Hi, I hold a SBI credit card since last 2 or more years and since last 1 year I have serious problem regarding my credit card billing. I was making proper payments since last few years. Then 1 or 2 times I was unable to make payments due to I not being in the city, The following month I was been charged hell lot of charges and when I spoke to the bank regarding these charges they were not resdy to waive these charges. Then I stopped making the minimum due for a month and then they reversed those charges. then I again started making payments. After a few months I requested to change the billing cycle as it was in convinient for me to make paymet in the end of the month. They refused. Then again after some months there were some billing issues from my end and the banks end, but they never understood. some times I had not received the bill. I made a complaint. The collection agencies make harrasing calls and then they take the money from me. And some times they make un numerable calls and try and harres us. Then since last year I starter making timesly payments of the minimum payment due.
Since last couple of months I have lost my Job and due to which I am not in a state to make payments. Even my father was been admitted and he has been hospitalised and I already have huge hospitals / medical bills to pay and I have informed your bank about the same and still I am receiving un numerable calls regarding the payments. I have requested not to make this huge no of calls at my residence and mobile no. and the agent who make call from Gurgoan or Noida they speak ok. but still try to understand. But today and a couple of days ago there is a guy wiht name Abhay or Abhijeet who speaks RASHLY. And he has spoken to my mother very RUDELY and also even after informing about my issue STILL has no HUMANITY to speak CALMLY. He has made end no's of calls every days since last 2 weeks and is very RUDE, UN HUMAN, SARCASTIC and UNTOLERENT, there is no SENSE O[censored]NDERSTANDING at all, I have time and agin informed him that I want t make the payments but due to these un fortunate conditions unable to make payments. But the guy is very rude and says that he will keep on sending guys till I make the payments. I have informed him that currently I have no funds that I could make this payments, STILL there is not change in the KIND OF BEHAVIOUR of that UN HUMUROUS PERSON. My mother had cried in front of that GUY still He was making FUN OF MY MOTHER. And says" CHADDAR DEKHKAR PEER PHELANE CHAHIYE" " WHY DOES YOUR BANK SEND THESE CARDS TO CUSTOMERS IN EVERY PERSONS LIFE THERE IS A GOOD AND A BAD DAY WHY DO YOULL SELL THESE LIABLITIES WHEN YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT SOME TIMES THERE MAY BE SITUATIONS WHERE A PERSON MAY HAVE SOME GENUINE ISSUESS.

MY CARD WAS BLOCKED A YEAR AGO AND I CANT EVEN MAKE A BALANCE TRANSFER AS THE CARD WAS BLOCKED. AND NO RENEWAL WAS DONE. HENCE I DONT KNOW WHAT HAS TO BE DONE. I HAVE REQUESTED THEM TO ACTIVATE THE CARD SO i COULD HAVE GOT THE COMPLETE OUTSTANDING CLEARED. BUT THEY NEVER AGREED. THAT TIME MY OUTSTANDING WAS JUST " 5600/- " AND NOT IT HAS REACHED 14, 000/ JUST TELL ME WHAT HAS TO BE DONE. THERE ARE ALMOST HALF THE CHARGES WHICH ARE JUST ADDED AS LATE PAYMENT. AND INMUMERABLE INTEREST.

I WOULD " SUGGEST " INSTEAD OF " REQUEST " TO CHANGE SOME POLICIES OF THE BANK AND DO NOT HARRESS PEOPLE LIKE THIS OR THERE WLL BE A DAY WHEN YOU WILL HAVE " 0 CUSTOMERS " AND " 0 EARNINGS" YOUR STAKE WILL BE "0". I WOULD NOT LIKE TO SEE THAT DAY . . . . . . I HOPE SOME CHANGES FRM THESE BANKS POLICIES.

I AM SORRY TO TAKE YOUR TIME AND ALSO WILL MAKE THE PAYMENTS AS SOON AS I GET A JOB. I WOULD NEVER KEEP ANY BANKS CREDIT CARD.

SBI Credit Card — Sending wrong statements and harrasing on phone.

Halo,
i am a SBI card customer and i used the credit card only once for taking 10, 000 Rupees cash. The next day itself call started coming.
and i was paying the interest as they asked and statement also was coming correctly. Within a month i have paid the 10000 rupees as two instalments each5000 rupees cheque of SBT Pappanamcode.
After closing the account also they were keep calling for money. Iwas arguing with them.Finally one lady(name not remember)told to pay Rs.180 to become Zero balance. I agreed with her.One Man came to my office and collected the cheque.Till two months no harrasment on phone.But after that wrong statement started coming and on phone also one lady name kavitha keeps calling andshe told to pay nearly 4000 rupees. I have not used the credit card after that and also i sent a hand written request letter saying that to cancel the card.Kindly note this point and take necessary action .
above statement is very currect they cheating more consumers
