[Resolved]  State Bank of India — Waiting time of call center line is over 15 mins always

Hi, I have SBI Credit card which i am using For more than 3 years without any problem, Last month my card got upgraded(For Free) to chip based card and when i try to use my new card in IRCTC, it says "International Cards are not accepted for payments". This happens only for my new card. When i tried to contact the customer care help line 39 02 02 02 i was shocked to hear the waiting period. Once it was 13 mins, so i thought all their executives were busy. on the same day after some 3 hrs i called to the same number and now waiting period is 18 mins!!!!. The very next day i called using my BSNL landline number and called their toll free customer care but again the waiting period is 16 mins!!! so what is SBI card section thinking? Have they found a new way by charging the customers by waiting? As per standard telephone etiquettes, a call has to be answered within 3 ring but considering this is a customer care, a wait of more than 3 mins is just annoying. And to my surprise, there were no online grievance system for them. I tried to Pune CC(as i got my card from pune sbi division) and Chennai(now i reside in chennai), but both CC centres have above issue.

SBI Card — Customer care wait time

Customer care service is very bad. You have to wait for half an hour to get connected to customer care person.
