I had recieved a gift voucher from SBI credit card saying you won Louis quartz watch worth of 3, 990/- and i have to pay 590 as handling charges. I was in thought of taking it but after seeing this website with somany complaint on such offers, i drop the idea and thankful to all who posted this information. The scratch card sent to me by SBI credit card indicated prize of " Polo wrist watch .When tried to contact as per the instruction of M/s Compact International at the toll free no.[protected] on Sept 19, 09 and Sept 20, it was observed that no response for continuation in English/Hindi. Further the handling charges of Rs. 499 for redemption is very high for delivery of a wrist watch. It is not clear why such high processing and delivery charges. Are thse towarfds recovering the cost of the gift being sent to the winner. It instills a doubt about the quality and its worth as Rs. 3950/-. Any way, if the response is proper I will go ahead, otherwise SBI card has to shoulder the responsibilty for the offer, qualty and the worth of the prize as they have send these to me as their cardholder.Let us watch and see.
