Dear Sir,
This is in reference with my State Bank of India credit card no. xxxx xxxx xxxx 0373. On 25.08.10, I got SMS from SBI informing blocking of credit card. When I contacted them, they informed about two suspicious transactions of amount Rs.2000 each on 23.08.10. I told them that those were not my transactions and immediately mailed Dispute Form, as guided by customer care. After few days I came to know that there is total seven fraud transaction on 23.08.10 total amounting Rs.14000.
I wish to lodge a official complaint against this fraud transaction on my above credit card with detailed history given below. Please note that I had never used my credit card for any online purchasing or net banking and never disclosed my details to anybody. Even I had not registered for secure ID password till 05.09.10, which was used for above transactions.
Sir, I would like to request you to kindly investigate in this matter and initiate necessary actions to resolve this case at the earliest.
Detailed History :
1) Got first SMS on 25.08.10, stating that my card is blocked as precautionary measures to prevent misuse and asked me to call customer care.
2) Same day I called customer care[protected] and asked them the reason of card blocking. They informed about two suspicious transactions of amount Rs.2000 each on 23.08.10 in the name of IDEA cellular. Since those were not my transactions, they took my complaint (MQ[protected] and asked me to send Dispute Form.
3) Same day I immediately mailed Dispute Form to SBI ( mail attached)
4) Another SMS on 26.08.10 and 27.08.10, requesting for reactivation, but I did not responded.
5) On 01.09.10 got call from SBI customer care, saying there is total seven fraud transaction on 23.08.10 of Rs. 2000 each, total amounting Rs.14000. Also confirmed with me whether I have done any net transactions, which I declined and explained my case in details. He confirmed that they will investigate and let me know.
6) On 05.09.10 again got call from SBI, saying that my old card is deactivated and new card will be sent shortly.
7) Today on 06.09.10 I called to SBI customer care for the status of my case. He informed that all seven transactions were done through safe website and by secure ID password. Hence they have considered it as valid transactions. Upon briefing my fact about not own transactions, he asked me to lodge FIR, SBI cannot help now.
I asked him to stop new card issue immediately and requested him to hold this billing to avoid any penalty or additional charges, till the case is resolved.
Once again a humble request to help me in this reagrd, since I cannot pay this huge amount of Rs.14000. I am very thankful to you for your kind support and valuable time.

SBI Bank — Credit card frauds
I have not received any credit card of sbi bank but I a m continuously receiving calls for paying credit card payment for different person. But at my mobile number [protected]. Please take any action against this.
