A SBI card procurred under promotion scheme in Aug 02 (card no, [protected]) but cancelleled after using the same for 4 months due to consistent wrong billing and " I care a damn abt cust service" attitude of their call center executives in Jan'03 at their credit c ard offfice at MIDC - wimmar house by paying off the principal amount spent on the card. After few months i start getting bills stating the payment is due. The billing mistake was not rectified and they started adding finance charges and interest on the same!!! On lpodging strong verbal complaint the bills stopped coming and then resurfaced again in '2005!!!! a prompt written communication to the head cardsd division further stopped the bills and now again from 2009 i have been reciving bills by post and not courier as is normally the case. Letters to customer service executive, head Cards division, and even to Mr O.P.Bhat has been of no use.Both my parents are medically unwell with my Mum having suffered a stroke 6 months back and also been diagonised with Alchizemers and my Dad is emotions drained out looking after her and now I have started recieving threatening phone calls. Since my job involves travel 15 days a month, they are under tremendous emotion strain. Pls suggest a good lawyer as i want to file a case in consumer court and fight for a min 10-20L compensation to set an example to all banks who try to penalise consumers for their call centre/ billing centre's inefficency.
