Sir, On implementation of 6th central pay commission PDA, State Bank of India, has fixed my basic pension to Rs. 5568/-P.M. plus relief as applicable. However, in due course govt. has issued another letter dated 14 Oct 2008 regarding revision of pension of pre 2006 pensioners. As per the govt. letter of 14 Oct 2008 my basic pension would have been fixed to Rs. 6545/-P.M. During retirement my basic pay scale was Rs. 1400/-P.M. and the same has been revised in 01 Jan 96 to Rs. 5000/- On implementation of 6th central pay commission, the pay scale of Sub Inspector has been revised to Rs. 9300/- P.M. + 4200/- . In this way 50% of basic pay is Rs. 6750/-P.M. for maximus 33 years of service. However, in my case I have served 32 years and my basic would have been fixed to Rs. 6545/-P.M. plus relief. My pension details are as follows:- PPO No.CRPF/88/763/RP/PA[protected] Pension Account No. [protected]
