State Bank of India — Refusal to withdraw money from another branch in the same city despite producing Passbook

I hold a Savings Bank Acc. No. [protected] with SBI NSIT Dwarka branch. Since the past three years, I have been successfully able to withdraw/deposit money into this account from the SBI branch at Delhi college of Engineering. A few days back I went to withdraw money but was rudely refused. I am deeply confused by this double standard shown by the bank's authorities. I would've really appreciated it if the bank staff, instead of mocking me, had listened to my problem and suggested a solution.
