S.B.I.ATM — Amount Debited

This is to bring to your notice that I Sandeep Govind a/c no [protected] made a transaction of Rs 2000 from an Indian Bank Atm Chennai on 2 May..The transaction was unsuccesful but the amount was debitted..I soon lodged a complain in my S.B.I. Branch Ashok Nagar Kanpur..
But in this long course of time..there has been no action taken by bank employees..and my amount has also not been credited back..
Kindly look forward to the situation..

Subject: My Serious Complaint:

I tried to withdraw Rs. 1000.00 from the ATM at NRI Branch H-Block Marina Arcade CP New Delhi-01 on[protected]. The cash was not dispensed from the ATM but the account was debited. I submitted a written complaint at the SBI branch in D.L.W. VARANASI.

I haven't received any response from you until now. This is causing me serious inconvenience, I’m a student. Please look into this matter. I

SBI ATM — SBI ATM -- not dispensing cash

I have faced some really weird problem with an ATM machine. I wanted to withdraw cash and had put in Rs 4000 as the amount that I wanted to withdraw. However, while dispensing cash the machine got jammed and began to retract the notes that it was supposed to send out. I landed up getting only Rs.1300 . However the statement shows that Rs 4000 have debited from my account.

I have provided the details of the incident and the machine ID number above. Can someone please help me with this.

SBI — Cash debited but not dispensed from ATM

Dear Sir,


This is to inform you that I withdrew Rs.10, 500/- from SBI ATM on 16/06/09. My request was not processed due to some technical failure. Though i didn't recieve the cash, the aount was debited from my account. I came to know about this when I checked my mini statement. I called up your customer care number, they guided me to write an application to the Branch Manager of my home branch. I followed the instruction and submitted the application along with the mini statement. I was informed that the amount will be rolled back in my account in maximum 8 working days. When I asked request number for my complain I was not given. Its now 15 Days and still I have not received my amount. This is really frustrating. When I again went to check the status in my home branch I was told that it will come, but when that even we can’t tell you. Please help me if you can or at least guide me what should I do.

I, K Rajesh Kimar an old customer of SBI Kusumi, Gorakhpur. On 16 Feb 09 at Hyderabad I tried to draw rs2000 from an ATM of SBH Exhibition Groungs, but invain, I did not get the amount but to my surprise on next day when checked my balance the amount was deducted.
On return back to Gorakhpur I lodged a complaint in my parent branch since then(6 months passed) there was no response from my bank regarding the complaint. Time and again I enquired about it but their answer is not satisfactory as they are taking it as a common thing, even today after 6months of the incident Bank people are answering me as "don't worry". Please look into the matter and help me to gain faith on No1 Bank in India.

one week back i tried withdrawing Rs1000 from one of the SBI atm, but the money which came out was only Rs 950. This looks immposible as there is no chance of a Rs 50 comin out of any ATm. But this really happened. it was in the evening so no bank was open i called and reported this to the customer care. Then i went and reported this at my branch they refused to listen also were not accepting to take my complaint letter even the branch manager was not agreeing to listen to me.
this is not a matter of Rs 50 but atleast they shouls research on this from their end. this happened in bangalore (banaswadi branch ATM). inspite of being an account in the same branch this was the response from the autorities.

STATE BANK OF INDIA, HYDERABAD — Money Not Dispensed

Today (i.e 21 st sept 2009) i went to SBI ATM at Balkampet main road,Hyderabad. I tried to with draw amount Rs 600/-. But i got only Rs 100/- only. The Remaining Rs 500/- was not dispensed.

Respected Sir,
I am Pratibha DixitI having a Saving Account in SBI branch AURAIYA(UP). I tried to withdraw 8000-/ Rs from SBI ATM(BHARTHANA BRANCH, Dist- Etawah-UP) on 12-01-09, but in first attempt i didn’t get money from above ATM, so i made a second attempt. In second attempt i successfully withdrew 8000-/Rs, but total amount of 16000-/Rs(two times 8000-/Rs) debited from my account. I already submitted three Applications in SBI Bank Auraiya and one Application in ATM Branch office.But there were no response about my complaint. .We are a middle class family so 8000-/ Rs. is a big amount for me. So kindly take resonable action and maintain my account as soon as possible.

I used SBI ATM card on 10 Aug 09 at AXIS Bank Lohegaon, Pune-32 for the amount of Rs5000.Cash not dispensed but debited from my SBI A/C No. [protected]. I made a complaint twice in my SBI A/C branch but the matter is not resolved. I also logged on line complaint with SBI Bank (complaint ticket no. cc[protected] & cc[protected]. Have not received any update on my Complaint. Not satisfied with service. Issue pending from almost two months now.
