I am here to share a very pathetic experience I had with SBI Credit Card.
I was a credit card holder of SBI bank and my card no is ("[protected]"). My elderly old parents have got a call from one lady representative of SBI Bank from your recovery department to pay the dues. My parents politely told her that i have paid the entire amount, instead of that she started threatening my parents saying that i have to pay this AMOUNT BY NOW other wise she will send the recovery person at home an will see how you can not return the money. They were extremely rude and abusive. They are ABUSIVE in such a way that they normal educated people can't even think about it.
I am going through a horrible time, even after making payments on time.
I have sent lot of mails to their Nodal officer and Grievance Officer but unable to received a resolving reply. But one thing we should admire that we get reply from them that wome one will look into the matter and will revert but it never happen. But still the same things are continuing.
Due to above CBIL had negative ratings for me.
Thanking You,
Your’s Faithfully

SBI Credit Cards — Telephonic Harassment
Chennai, Jun 21, 2010Sir,
I am lodging the complaint through this forum about the telephonic harassment by SBI. I had received severals call from one of SBI associates/lawyer and he talked about dues from me for a credit card that I do not possess. This is the fourth such incident from SBI in the last four years and I see no concrete action taken from their organization. I had indicated to them earlier, that I do not and have not possessed any credit card from SBI and these unnecessary calls from their associates is actual harassment, request you to please take stern action on the concerned people.
In the earlier incident in Sep 30, 2008, they had sent a email response that they have closed this issue and there would be no further calls
Prior to that in Apr 19, 2006, they had sent a mail confirmation that the issue is closed through mail.
On Mar 17, 2006, I had sent personally visited the associates of SBI along with my lawyer and clarified with them that all the documents they had shown were doctore/forged and none of the details they had shared were related to me.
On Mar 20, 2006, I had my lawyer send a formal notice to SBI Cards head quarter at Delhi, but did not get any response from them
I therefore request the grievances cell of RBI to please look into the matter urgently to stop this harassment by SBI.
Thanks & Regards,
Ammayappan
