[Resolved] State Bank of India — Wrongly charged without intimation | |||
Dear Sir, This is Vishal patel, Surat, Gujarat. I have got my SBI platinum card last month & my first bill was generated on 13.05.12 & due date was 02.06.12, the bill amount was 47909. I paid my bill on 1st June 2012 through online banking (SBI). The same is credited in to my SBI account. I don't know while applying for platinum card, agent applied for the auto debit facility which was not told to me neither during application fill up to nor before debiting the money from my account. As per this facility SBI made a request for auto-debit which I already paid before the bill due date. The amount was not sufficient in my saving account and same was rejected by SBI bank. Now they charged me rupees 500 stating payment dihonour fee. I have been using SBI Titanium Card since past 5 years. I have neved paid bill even after the bill due date so how come I can miss the bill this time though the platinum card is being issued to me on my request. I talked to Customer care on[protected] & requested them to cancel the charges as I have already paid the bill before due date & request made by SBI CARD for auto debit.
