[Resolved]  Sun Direct — Poor Service

I subscribed to Sun direct in the month of Apr'09. For seeing paid channels, we need to buy "Currency". As per the sundirect website, they advertised that the currency will be available from Aircel dealer however in reality it is not.

For chosing new paid channels, they provide an option to do the same by login to "www.sundirect.in" through customer login after buying the currency. I bought the currency recently 10 days back. However unable to login for past 10 days.

Customer care number[protected]as per their website www.sundirect.in, is always busy.

I totally dissatisfied with their deficiency in service.

I have a very similar situation. I got hold of a guy who does work for sun direct on contract basis. Paid him Rs 150 per connection * rectified the problem.I am sorry to sayeven after sending meial to head of customer support & CEO of sun direct no one responds. I have paid one year subscription. waiting for that period to get over to switch my connection.

I hope Mr Kalanithi Maran or his office looks inot these matters & adress this asap

I got SUN Direct DTH conncetion after 5 months i have satilite channels problem ,i noticed this problem more than 15 times their service people in hyderabad no one still solved my problem .when ever i called these numbers 66714499, 66315599,they collect my address habit of saying they will solve the problem within 48 Hrs.then after 48 Hrs again another guy will answer and collect same details agian and say the same 48 Hrs story.i was frustrated with these people who are working in Sun Direct DTH service in Hyderbad.even they dont have compalint register record so that iam unable proove myself i compalint more than 15 times.any way they waste my time and money every day .please take necessary action towards thease type of savage behaviour.please helpme out ..Atleast these people must understand that there was a saying CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT, OR CUSTOMER IS THE KING..My cell no is [protected].ALWAL MES COLONY EAST VENKATAPURAM ,PLOT NO.18 F2. SUN DIRECT/ DTH SERVICE — Opted channels not received

I have subscribed for kannada channels by paying one year full payment in advance.
(Smart Card No. [protected]R- K.G.MANJUNATH, No.39, 2nd main, venkateshwara layout, attiguppe vijayanagar II stage, bangalore-560040. Res:23393516/ Mob: [protected])

Since 4th November 2010, the said channels are not available to watch.

To Lodge the complaint I tried from 5th November till 7th November to their customer care numbers 39407575/[protected] but their numbers are not reachable.

As I had no option, I kept on trying the said numbers on 8th November, luckily I could able to register the complaint vide no.[protected], with an assurance of attending the complaint within 72 hours.

As god is kind to me, i was able to get their customer care number during early morning during 5 am to 6 am. So, I called atleast 6 times on alternative days,and they promptly answer the complaint will be attended within 48 hours.

Today around 7 pm I was lucky to get the customer care number with numerous attempts ( as i felt not choice unless keep trying), once again the answer is complaint will be attended in next 48 hours. And they are not providing any contact numbers of any of the official/service provider inspite my demand.

As i am sick with the attitude of the SUN DIRECT, I am submitting this complaint.
Although I am not having an iota of confidence that the company will respond, still i am making an attempt to register the complaint on this platform.

SUN DTH. — POOR SERVICE.

SUN Direct DTH Service is too worst . Since one month iam keep on calling
upto now i didt get any response.

We recharged on Nov 1st 2010. But only 4 or 5 channels are available to watch. the same i conveyed to your customer care people upto now the problem was not rectifired.

I owned a Sun direct DTH service([protected]). They have subscribe for new satellite,i have registered my complaint to change my receiver direction before one month. Till date they have not send any technician even though i called several times. It takes more than half an hour top connect to their call center.

Sun Direct — Worse than bad service

With reference to the realignment of the Sun Direct Satellite, I am lodging complaint for the last 2 months and no one bothered to come. Every time I will get standard answer of resolution in 72 hours.

This is been extremely horrible and the recharged amount Sun Direct has saved by not sending the technician. Sun Direct is cheating the customers who have paid and recharge by not transmitting the channels.

This is a breach of contract from Sun Direct and please treat this as an official complaint from my side.

After several calls i got complaint No.986 and also told that complaint will be attended after 3days and not given any specific date. very lethargic action.

Sun Direct DTH — Not working for 30 days

Brand name is Big. But service is worst than any company/providers. We have paid 3 months subscription in advance and activated English channel also. Due to new introduction of satellite we lost channel one by one. My family member complaint to call center a month time back. They promised within 48 hours will attend the job. Now today I complaint that and ref No.SUN196280 dated 25-12-10 and executive name -Bharati who refused to give complaint/Grievance mail id/ or contact no of sun Direct office.also not revealed who is in Ambattur area (to take care of services)
Unfortunately we dont have cable connection since we discontiunded and installed this system.They told me that will attend asap.No time period is given.I dont think they will come after one month or .....who knows date..

ALL VIEWERS ARE REQUESTED NOT TO GO WITH SUN DTH FOR EVER.

This is the best worst service ever faced in life time, ever since we have taken this connection we have been facing problems from day 1 and till date the same is continuing , only wastage of money and energy in calling the customer service.
SAME HERE. I M ALSO SUN DIRECT CUSTOMER AND FACED SAME PROBLEM. NEVER TAKE SUN DIRECT.

Sun DTH (Television Network Connection) — Fraud service

I am one of the customer in Sun DTH service, recently the sun DTH - link stalite is changed, all the customer affected the stalite changing progress, this is technical problem in the Sun DTH management side, not consummer side, in this connection all the member this intrputed service, repair the set up box is own risk & own expence including me. so many time contact customer service cell no, there is no responsible. there is very very worst service, Sun DTH - service join the new customer warning this is a message. i can appeal this (fraud service) go to consummer court, file this case at very soon.

I have recharged my My account today after noon around 2 PM. Now It's 10:15 PM still it did not get channels to view. I have called 3 times to customer care but they are telling same stories like refreshed, wait for one hour, 1/2 hour by keeping your TV on. It's really ridiculous. This not a first time bad experience. Last time I called almost 10 to 15 times for satellite realignment but no action from their end. Waited almost 2 months but no use then I got it done by paying Rs 300 to a third party person. I'm really pissed off with Sun Direct.

I don't know exactly to whom I can complain on the same.

Please don't chose Sun Direct DTH. Don't be deceived by their advertisements.

In simple I can say "Sun Direct is a ".
after recharge there was no channels found, and also customer care number is always busy,
it is faking the people, no contact to the customer care, always busy route, no channels found, stop the service of sun network
I am also in the same line. I took some 4 days back from chennai vasanth &Co Tnagar. The installation person came two days later and came with insufficient length of cable and came back again next day. But after 24 hours of installing the dish it is still not got activated. Sun TV customer care says only distributor should do the activation DIstributors has activated but there is some error code only sun tv should check the same. We are living in 3g and 4g generation and he is saying the system problem not working well. etc., Bluffers!!!

SUN DTH — Not able to find the validity period

Sun Direct — POOR SERVICES

I AM ONE OF THE SUN DIRECT CUSTOMER. MY SUN DIREC CARD NUMBER IS [protected]-R. FOR THE PAST 20 DAYS BEFORE I PAID RS.35 FOR IPL CRICKET SONY SET MAX CHANNEL. dear sir,
i consider that sun direct i worst in dth service. they no proper procedures and poor customer care. the recharging system also not user flexible.
