Similar to above, our glass also broke suddenly and continued to crack further for hours...It was a big mistake to trust sunflame brand name and buy an expensive stove.

faced same problem. My stove also burst while using only one burner. The company is very clever to show that glass parts are not covered in the guarantee. But please tell them sombody that this is a very serious manufacturing defects and should be resolved by replacing it with good quality glass and removing stoves of same type from the market immediately.

Reading all the experiences above, i feel like buying this burner was the biggest mistake. Same had happened to our 4-in-1 glass top burner, its glass got shattered at night when i was not cooking and realised it in the morning. Company like sunflame is producing these kind of non reliable products is such a shame, just playing with people lives. This product should be discontinued in the market.
My surya glass top burst with a sound while cooking. Scary! . Had purchased it in 2011. Thank fully no one was injured but there are glass pieces everywhere on the kitchen platform!
It's glass top cracked up automatically with an explosion like sound.

Glass Top was cracked in to tiny crystal while doing the normal cooking which means that there is defect in the stove workmenship or the quality of the glass used on the stove and hence Sun Flame company should get the same replaced without any cost if they are quality conscious or else i shall be proceeding to the appropriate authorities for customer grievance cell to fight as a vigilant customer.

My sunflame chimney's upper glass burst into pieces when not in work for 6-7 hours. Thank God no one got injured.
My wife also cooking on 3 burner gases stove it suddenly blasted .. I recommend not to buy sunflame glass on top stoves
SUNFLAME glass stove suddenly "BLASTED" into smaller pieces of glass after a while of cooking, however there was no one in the kitchen. Hence, no one was injured. Please consider this as serious problem and replace the glass top with much higher quality. I will not recommend anyone to purchase such glass top based gas stoves.
I am writing this having the worst experience of my life. I bought a new gas stove and suddenly 3:30 AM in the morning our gas stove started cracking. My gas stove is brand new gas and this happened.

I have a three burner sunflame nova gas stove which is almost a year and a half old, last night while i was in my room I heard a blasting noise and to my notice i found the glass top of this stove was blasted. There were no hot utensils anywhere near to the stove and the stove was completely idle.
