BILL RAISED POST CANCELLATION AND BEING HARASSED BY THE CUSTOMER CARE TEAM


Dear Sir / Madam,

I have paid my final dues of Tata Photon on December 2012 of my connection bearing no.[protected]. Further to my discussion with team of Tata Photon outlet in Malad East they had sent someone to my home to collect the payment had mentioned to them that I would like to discontinue the service. The executive who came to collect the payment ensured that we would process our request and we don’t have to give any more documents only all our dues have to be cleared and they would cancel our service in the system. Because I had good service from the Tata Photon believed that this request would also be considered and acknowledge at the right time.

After 3 month in mid / late March 2013 we got a call from the customer care team from Tata Photon and said there are due. We had informed them about our cancellation but for almost 15days we got repeated call and we always tried to keep our cool they would start arguing with us and always acknowledged us as if we were some kind of criminal and their voices would go up. Suddenly all stopped.

Now 27th June, 2013 again my brother gets a call from Tata Photo executive (the so called goons collecting agents of the company) call was from Raj the number from which he called was [protected]. My brother informed him that he is in a meeting and if he can call him in 15 to 20 mins. The call never came that day. Next day on 28th June, 2013my brother again gets a call saying that we have pending bills and if payment not done on time the charge us late payment and cut the phone. Today on 29th June, 2013 they are calling my brother and harassing him by saying that if payment not done today then they will charge a case against us.

Finally had to take matters in my hand called on the number it was busy after sometime they called I spoke to a lady who said that no matter what I need to make payment for that bill generated in Jan, 2013 and post the dues are paid they will close the matter. She also agreed that they are ready for settle meant and I need to make a payment of Rs. 1000. According to them my pending amount was 1700 plus whereas per my old monthly bill would not be more than RS. 1,393.27. The additional amount was the late charges which they kept adding always for the first 3months when we were not informed about the bill being generated or any reminder mails stating that “Kindly make payment or else there will be late charges”. They kept quiet for the 3months and kept adding the money again after the first discussion in March if they say that they follow rules and are so efficient they should have closed the matter but they tried to force us to make payment when we started asking for explanation on the bill which was raised post our agreement on cancellation. And again for more 3 months the late charges kept pilling.

As per them now I am eligible to pay for the Jan 2013 bill which I didn’t use for the month also we had informed the cancellation to the executive and plus the 6 months late charges which they kept adding without our knowledge about the bill. I again today got a call from Raj who kept arguing and raising his voice even after my repeated request to lower his voice that I was customer. He said they are ok for a settle out of curiosity I asked him what is the amount which they want me to pay he said pay us Rs. 1000 and will close the matter will never call you or harass you for anything which is his word. So that Rs. 1000 I should pay for the harassment which they would continue doing if I don’t make the payment. I told him about my concern and that I had cancelled the service the bill was wrongly credited to me and that for initial 3months I was not even informed about the bill it was in March that they called and long discussion happened to which post our questions they stopped. Later was under the impression that maybe they would have understood the mistake and cancelled it. Now today after more 3 months, so as long as 6months I am being informed that the matter was not shut but pending and that today is the last date of the payment. He said last I can settle the bill for Rs. 890 which is the amount I should pay for peace of mind. I mentioned that would agree for the payment but if the amount is below Rs. 500 which is doable for me to pay. Then came his true colors and he raised his voice to the highest pitch saying that we will not accept it and that not he file a legal case against me.

The entire conversation with them I have only understood that they only said thing when they felt was the right time and when they felt now the customer is weak and has to agree to their point. TATA which is known for their service and ethics in the industry held my bill for 6months kept adding late charges so that they can make that extra for the service that has been deactivated. One first occasion tried to generate fear but because we had good question which couldn’t answer went back and now coming to us saying to make the payment, then saying to settle the amount, then negotiating on the settlement and later when saw that their target amount or the incentive which they would get for harassing people is getting lower saying that they would charge a legal case against me for not payment.

The entire conversation of 29th June, 2013 I have recorded which I did as a last attempt to prove that it was their fault and they have charged me wrong. In the conversation they have agreed to their fault but because the bill is generated I have to make the payment.

The best part I tried complaining the issue on www.tataphoton.com every time I entered the photo account number it would ask me to register, when I tried to register they would not accept the information and say please try again later.

After the entire episode I should be charging a case against them for mental harassment. And all this came from a reputed company Tata, my fault in the issue was I got associated with the brand and got good service during my tenure but failed to get the same when I had cancelled it.

One thing is for sure I will never go for any TATA product nor will I recommend it to anyone.

whenever a customer make a call to your customer care service it is gives always a voice phone reply and fedup with you and will be constrained to switch your services

Tata Indicom Bill — Bill amount more than real amount.

Tata Photon+ — wrong details about bill then extra charge

I purchase a tata photon + from ADITYA INTERNATIONAL , 5 Bharti Artist's colony, main vikas Marg.
I take a plan in which i can use 2 BG of downloding in day time(for a month) and 10 GB of data downloding in night time (for a month) night time downloding time is 11PM to 7 AM. I do all my downloding work in this time only but they charge me for it and they say that my use is not count in night time if I do not log in after 11 pm
this information about login time is given to after billing so much no dealor or costomber care service say me about this login timeing for downloding my bill is more then doubble then my actual bill what can I do for it.
I complain 3 times to the costomber care but no solution will come for my side please help me what is the correct process to complain against my wrong billing.

I have registered a complaint of inordinately high billing for the last two months (now three months including the latest bill). It has probably got to do something with your slow network and I am being penalized for that. PLEASE LOOK INTO IT URGENTLY AND RESOLVE THE ISSUE.

Tata Photon + — keeps getting phone bill calls even after making a cancellation request.

Last month I made SR[protected] to cancel my photon account,[protected], by calling your call center. I was told that SR will be fulfilled in 2 days. Now I when I saw the status, it said the SR was closed. I keep getting calls from your call center asking me to pay the bill. I am not responsible for any bill issued after I made the SR. I request you to cancel my photon with immediate effect. Also, dont call me on my mobile asking me hundreds of questions as to why I want to cancel the account. If you want to communicate with me, send me an email.

When did you contact me ? The SR was supposed to be fulfilled within 2 days from the day it was registered. I waited for your call, nobody called me. And eventually my cell phone number got changed sometime in the 1st week of June. You had more than 10 days to contact me and you didn't contact me during that period. You may have called me after my contact number was changed. That is sheer negligence on your part. I am not going to run around your office to cancel my service. Whether or not you cancel the service is up to you.

Tata Photon + — Cancellation of Service Not Done

I had taken a USB data Card from TATA Tele Services by paying Rs. 2500/- from a TATA Indicom Store near Anandabagh of Malkajgiri Muncipality in month of March last year, for using a mobile Internet facility, since I would be on tour often. At the out set the service and connection was good. But the quality and speed of the broad band service was started deteriorating immensely and finally from March of this year it became an unreliable service totally. It became quite useless during the hour of need. Since I was with my son in Bangalore, I could not complain physically. Many a time I expressed my dissatisfaction over my mobile phone to the customer care center and TATA service executives that I would not pay the Photon bill any more from June of this year and to discontinue the service with immediate effect due to bad service. The out standing if any might be deducted from my Security deposit paid by me during the initial activation. But the TATA executive told me to come to the TATA Service Center at S.D. Road and write down physically for cancelling the service; otherwise, the monthly rentals will be charged to my Photon Account though the services are not there or they are not used. Since I am staying in Bangalore with my son, I told them that it hardly possible for me to com to Hyderabad all along to cancel the service and requested them to cancel it basing on my oral application through mobile. I once again request the TATA people through this complaint to effect the cancellation duly deducting the outstanding charges from the security deposit amount and do needful.

Hi,

I received a call from your customer care team a few days and I finally got some clarity on the amount that asked from me and the bill against it. Had very clearly mentioned to the representative that I am travelling and would be only be able to pay my dues post I am back that the coming week.

On the second day my brother again gets a call from your goons and they abuse him and talk to him rudely he told them to connect with me as the tata photon was in my name but they went on with their rude calls. Today again he got a call and when I tried to talk to them the ladies on the phone was so rude and impolite. When I had a discussion and everything was clearly mentioned then why am still getting calls from your goons. Is there a mis-communication between the people who are actually your customer care team and these people who must criminal or goon’s well show from the language they speak.

Enough is enough it was your mistake failure from your team for not communicating things in the right way as professionals as we have all known TATA for then why are these loop holes who create a ruckus and gives us a chance to speak ill of the organisations.

For for the harassment caused to us we should file a case against and we have lots to prove that how were talk by these so called customer care team of yours have recorded my previous conversation. Initially they had denied even our account being cancelled finally in my last conversation and have mails to prove it that we had cancelled the account in Jan 2013. The biggest flaw that they could ever come up with and have gone through enough for almost 7 months from your people for no mistake of mine only cause your team was not efficient enough to do their work on time.

Is something wrong with your team why are they calling my brother and talking to him in foul language. I am putting this on mail we will no longer take any calls from anyone from Tata team will disconnect the calls. All communication will happen between us on mail.

There was guys with whom I spoke two days back Ratneswar Banerjee i guess he had assured me that my and my brothers (the registered number with Tata Photon) will not get any harassment calls and that our numbers will be added in the no calling list. Then why is your team behaving like this.

Now when everything is sorted then why is this lady calling us again and again don't any of customer care have manners or do u hire people without a background or police verification of the person. What bunch of goons have you hired is this the professionalism of TATA company. Really sad with all this episode with brand like TATA .
