[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Service barred due to document submission

Dear Sir/Madam,

I ported my Reliance GSM prepaid connection([protected]) to Tata Docomo GSM Prepaid on[protected].

As per the rules, I submitted the new CAF filled with all details(Porting Request Code RE426748), my passport size photograph and xerox of my passport to Gajanan Communications, Power House Chauraha, Aashiana, Lucknow.

On 1st July my Docomo connection got activated and i was using the service. But on 22nd July, i found that my incoming and outgoing calls and SMS were barred. When i called the customer care they informed that the documents were not submitted by me, so the services were withdrawn. I contacted the retailer from where i applied for MNP she told me that the documents have already been submitted on 28th July. Retailer gave me the contact number of Tata Docomo TSM Mr. Prasad(Mob No. [protected]) who is responsible for handling the customers documents. I contacted Mr. Prasad and he admitted that its a mistake from their side because the documents submission status is not updated on the system and he assured me that service will be resumed shortly.
On 25th July my service was resumed.

On 1st Aug again my service got disconnected and sim card registration failed message was displaying on my mobile.
I called to the customer care they told me that my documents have not been submitted. I again contacted the Docomo personnel MR. Prasad he told me that service will be resumed on 1st Aug. When the service didn't resumed on 1st Aug i again called him and he told me that he will check the status and will call me back in an hour. When i didn't got any call from Mr. Prasad, i tried calling him many times but he didn't picked up my call. With no option left on 3rd Aug i went to TATA TELESERVICES Ltd. MG Marg, Lucknow and resubmitted the application form with my passport size photograph and xerox of my passport. On 4th Aug my service was again resumed.

On 17th Aug again my service got disconnected so i contacted to the customer care by web chat and i got the information from Docomo represantative MR. Krish that my documents are not yet submitted. I informed him that i have resubmitted the documents at the TATA Teleservices outlet. He assured me that some represantative will call me within 24hrs but till now no one from DOCOMO side has contacted me.

I am amazed by the fact that even after submitting correct documents, twice and that to at the TATA gallery, why are they not able to start the service. The barring of service was their mistake at the first place itself.

All I want to ask you is this the way Tata Docomo deals with their customers. Instead of helping they are throwing the balls from one court to another putting me in trouble, if this is the way you tackle the problems of your customer I will not hesitate to leave your services and opt someone else but don’t you think a single customer will snatch hundred along with him if he is right so that others cant face the same problem again?

Now i am completely fed up with the TATA DOCOMO's unethical and irresponsible behavior, this has caused me a mental harassment and i am feeling handicapped due to unavailability of the service and now i regret why i switched over from Reliance to Docomo atleast they were giving me uninterrupted services.

As i have already mentioned in my complaint that i have resubmitted the application form and documents (passport size photograph and xerox of passport) on 03-08-11 at TATA Teleservices Ltd. MG Marg, Lucknow and i have the customer copy of same, so how can you say that the documents are not submitted by me.
So, please check your record once again otherwise i have to file a complaint in consumer court because it is a matter of total negligence by TATA DOCOMO.
