[Resolved]  TATA Indicom Broadband Connection — haven't got my money back

hi

this is devendra khubnani, an executive came from tata indicom broadband internet side, i filled an application form for internet broadband services, he has taken rs. 100 from me, at the time of installation i came to know that he has given wrong information about charges, so i stopped them from installing, then i talked to the executive he told me he was not aware of this misconduct then he told me that he is on wrong side, so i told him to refund my money, he told me he will do it with in 2 days, i called him twice after that he responded same, but did not come to refund, then i lost my mobile so his number. Its been 2 months i have not got my money back, i m sending you details.

Tata Indicom Broadband Connection — Dishonesty

I was in need of Broad band connection, so one person approached our premises to offer the best services from tata indicom he said I will have to pay 282/- insatllation charges my cheque issued on TTML is cleared from bank but so far no connection or insatllation at my place i am unable to reach the contact persons.
Its really disgusting that Tata Indicom is providing such a service.

Tata Indicom Broadband Connection — No Internet connection

This is to inform you that we are TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED with Tata Indicom Broadband connections. For starters, we have been coaxed to buy high value packs from quite sometime now. So, while we began with Rs 450 pack, we are now paying Rs 1600 packs. Fine.

But even after buying that, there’s no INTERNET connection time and again. For the last two days, we have no connection and despite a complaint (No: 7560438) and despite technicians working on it, there’s no connection once more.
This is SIMPLY not acceptable. Please let us know whether this trend will continue which then makes us take a decision to continue with Tata Indicom or go to some other subscriber.

Tata Indicom Broadband Connection — Network connection is down frequently

I have taken this Tata Indicom broadband connection in September 2008, thinking that it should be good, if not as good as Airtel (as i was using airtel earlier, but no network in this place). The first problem is that none of their installation guys know how to connect a wireless router, if you already have. As i have a laptop, i thought o[censored]sing it anywhere in my house rather than fixing it at one place to get the cabled connection. I said, ok let me try that way. Now, the real problem started. Almost every alternate day, the internet doesn't work. Then i have to call the customer service to rectify the problem. The first few solution they suggest is like disconnect the cables from setup box, switch off the setup box, or something else. I can't believe that its how the troubleshooting is done in this internet service. If even after doing these silly things it doesn't work then they change some settings, and by god's grace somehow it starts working. By this time already half an hour is over on the phone, and I have paid 30 rupees for this troubleshooting. So, you can see that every alternate day if i keep on calling them I'll be spending another 400-500 rupees (even after paying 750 for this connection). If i tell the customer service about it, they say why don't you get a BSNL landline then call us through our toll free number. What a great joke it is...Now This problem happens on an average every alternate days. And to my surprise every time the solutions are also the same. I can't believe that. Moreover, its giving me mental tension like anything. After doing work for the whole day at office, when i come back home, i have to call this stupid customer service to solve the internet problem. Its very very frustrating. Since i have paid advance of 4 months, so I'll continue for another 1-2 months, and then disconnect it. I'll try to get some other internet connection. I warn all you people about this service provider, before going for it...

Tata Indicom Broadband Connection — Refund after Cancellation

I availed a broadband connection from Tata Indicom in Aug, 2008 by opting for an option of paying 3 months rental in advance where in the installation fee is waived off. However due to poor connectivity I placed a cancellation request after 3 days of activation. During this process I was told that it would take 60 days to deactivate the connection and another 60 days to process the balance payment. It's been more than 4 months now and I haven't received the balance amount yet. When I called up the customer care and registered a complaint, I got a reply saying that it would take another 60 days to refund the balance amount. Clearly the ISP is taking the customers for a ride. Why would they need 120 days to refund the balance amount?

Is there any consumer grievance cell in TRAI, where in I can formally register a complaint against the ISP?

Tata Indicom Internet Broadband — bill coming high

hi sir
my bill of internet broad band is coming above rental charges ie 200 and coming 875 so i request u to cancel this internet and i will not pay this bill any way

Tata Indicom Broadband Connection — poor connectivity,inactivated connection without giving any intimation,not properly answering by customer care people

1.Having connectivity problem.
2.Not giving any proper information by customer care people and on 05/04/2010 during the time 7p.m to 11 p.m no one attending the call at customer care centre.(Wi-max connection Dept)
3.Not informed about inactivating my broadband coneection,all of sudden inactivated my connection.
4.Delay in providing Static IP which i got as free in my Plan i.e 750Kbps.

TATA Indicom Broadband Connection — INTERNET IS NOT AT ALL CONNECTING FROM 18.00 HOURS TO 7.00 AM IN THE MORNING

I am you valued customer of Tata Indicom Broad Band for the last 8 years but recently I am not happy with your service which please and I would like to complaint about your service as under.

I am extremely sorry to inform you that my Tata indicom broad brand internet connection is not at all working from the night 18.00 hours to 7.00 a.m. in the morning for the last one month. Even though lot of complaints have been made over the phone and the technician also come in the morning and has seen it.

I am very much unhappy to use your TATA Indicom Broad Brand Internet connection and feel like switching off to some other broadband connection.

I request you to rectify the problem immediately and see that we get uninterupted internet connection from 18.00 in the night till 7.00 a.m. in the morning otherwise you will loose the valuable customer like me which please note.

TATA Indicom — internet disconnection failed

I've lost my internet data card & also request for the disconnection long time back on mail and talk on the phone several times, but i still get the bill. it's almost 4 months and i just found out that they are still dispatching the bill. I don't know what is wrong with their customer service. I really don't have time to go down to their office and talk to them personally. Now i got a call from somewhere telling me that they are filling a case against me, which sounds very disturbing and disgusting to me. Please help me get rid of this.

Herewith I wish to bring to your kind notice that after several complaints to your Toll Free Number about the DTC not given to me for your server down problem during the month of june 2011. Neither they have given me SR while giving complain nor they have given me DTC which I am liable to get from you by default. I was unable to use net connection for almost 15 days. Therefore I request the concern authorities to look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest as my validty time is approaching somewhere 2nd of sept. 2011.

Tata Indicom Broadband Connection — Tata Indicom Broadband connection failure

Hello,

This is biggest frustration for me to write this. I am totally disappointed from the service i got from Tata Indicom Broadband. Your customer service executive are not able to communicate & resolve the problems. No senior support even if i asked many times to escalate problem to senior executive. I would like to close this service as i did not get connection even if i had made a payment 6 days before. I am facing so much problem due to the Internet connection. I already called many times a day to your customer executive but they are giving me same answer that "We have written the your complaint & you will get Internet connection withing next 1 hour". This is response i am getting from you from last 6 days. I don't know how you guys calculate your 1 hr. Is your 1 hr means == 4-5 days ? Today morning i asked to pay bill again. I dont know why you are asking to pay bill again as i already paid & i have an SMS confirmation for my paid bill. I am getting in loss from last 5-6 days as my work is totally dependent on Internet.
