[Resolved]  Tata Photon Data Card — Dispute on my Bill. Call from high court information center, threaten me to make payment

Hi ,

This is Geetha. I had a tata photon connection which i got almost 2 years back.My usage per month was around 1100 and credit limit was 2500. Later for a month i have received bill for around 5000. I have requested for itemized bill. After so many followups i got the itemized bill, but data in that was not as per my usage. I raised the dispute. But case is closed without my confirmation.
I dint pay the bill as my concern was not addressed and the amount mentioned in the bill also wrong. So i left it.

After 2 years, Today i have got call from someone saying he is from Delhi high court and if am not paying the bill amount by 2.00 pm today, i have to pay the penalty of 25000 and i will be arrested. He was threatening me to make the payment. I' am mentally tortured by the call.

Please see the below last mail that i have sent to tata customer care where i have explained the problem for which no proper response. Even i have been to tata outlets but again no proper response.

Please help me out in this.

Hi,

I have been offered Rs 1000 rupees discount by customer care.I really don't know why i should pay single penny extra for which iam not supposed to.

Attaching the itemized bill sent to me by customer care. Its very clear that bill has lots of discrepancies.

1) TEL_NO is wrong.
2) Duration and units are same for which amount has been filled.
3) In some cases where units and duration are more, amount is 0 and for some cases where units are very less, amount is high.


When i took connection my credit limit was 2500. Who asked you to change my credit limit or why i dint get any intimation when the amount crosses certain limit

MY USAGE IS SAME FOR LAST 10 MONTHS. HOW BILL CAN BE 500% more for this month.


Finally, As mine is corporate connection, I will take this into a serious action. I would like to get proper update on this.

Data Card — Bill not updated properly after paying

I am using data card last 3 months. I have paid my bills of each month before daue dates at Reliance Communication, Usha Communication, Sector 6, Airoli, Navi Mumbai. But every months I faced problem due late updating bills by the above mentioned service provider to Reliance Center. Now I got bill with due ammount and extra changes. Every time above mentioned service provide promising me to update the bill but still not happene. I have reciept of the same.

AirTel — controversy on bill payment

I paid my mobile bill through SBH debit card but they scratch twice my Account debited amnout of 736/- I asked air tel customer care they said to concern the bank manager bank manager suggested to come again with one letter from airtel but they didn't respond properly after some discussions they gave the letter due to this process i lost lot of my valuable time(Two days) money and I got lot of disturbance pls take an action on airtel

Tata Photon — Data Usage not updated in Photon +

I used Ichoose online service for e-recharge of rs 200 for internet data usage to my No [protected] and got surprise that credit has happen to my photon. Detail transection of amount deducted from ICICI net banking is available. No response . God know how to handle this.

phone bill — Threatening for making the payment

My name is Gourav Magotra, I owned a number of Airtel (+91-[protected]) located in Jammu. Currently I am very much frustrated with Airtel services in terms of billing, as I always pay my bills through cash ontime from last 4+ years (before this controversy). Due to some wrong billing between this duration i had informed the customer care about this several time and the amount get waived off. They assured the same will not repeated again, however the practice was not get stopped of wrong billing. Hence ultimately I stopped making the payment of Airtel bill, which I had informed the customer care to do the rectification first then I will only able to pay the rest amount which is actually genuine to be paid.......I had received so many calls from Airtel departments for bill payments and I always requesting them to first rectified the amount which is wrongly added into it......they agreed so many times to get it rectified but they are not doing so....They are always telling me to make the payment first of 3000 amount first in which i replied to make only 2500, which they are not accepting. After then they stop my account from last six month and they still sending me the bill including late payment charges every month.....

Now they are making so many calls to my parents and friends to make the payment from their own part.....this case is now become a mental harassment for my parents and friends and also this will tends to loose my status also.

After making so many calls for payment now they are threatening us to make the payment and using so many abusive language (people like Gaurav Dutt airtel Jammu and Simran from taratel collection agency trikutanagar jammu etc....) for making the full payment (which includes the wrong billing charges for the controversy happens and late fee charges along with the Sevice taxes increasing due to late fee)

I request you to register this complaint and take a corrective action to get this case resolved. As this is now a mental harassment for all o[censored]s.

Hi Geeta,

Usually I have seen the turture of such service providers.

My suggestion is first nobody can threaten you for this, be bold and face.
1. Ask that person when he calls next time if he has the appropriate authotity to call.
2. If your credit limit is 2500 then how come your bill be more than 2500 INR. No case it is possible. If the service provider showing a bill more than 2500 then its their fault.
3. Why they did not called you when you were approching to your max limit agreed by you..

Ask these questions then let me know then I will suggest you. Han remember one thing whenever you get any type of call tell them to drop a note in ur mail id. Keep everything documented.

Hi Geetha,

Service providers generally make a call to the cutomer informing the users when the usage hits the credit limit. This event is really unfortunate, i second Mukti's voice, keep every communication documented. The servie provider also needs to show the proof for having contacted the customer for usage crossing the credit limit, which has not happened in your case.

and one more thing if they raised the credit limit did thay asked the account holder for that, did she agreed to that. If the service provider can show the dobument. I bet not possible for them.
I have seen the same instance with one of my friend.

For Geeta: Never call them..The number provided by then is the customer care number but a specific person's number. How do you know whom do you call. Its a lenthy process better give them ur mail is and tell them to contact u in mail and share the persons number who has proper authority.

This is empowerment. Struggle and keep updated

I was a user of Tata Photon Plus, and one of the Tata photon agents came to my office and collected Rs. 9300 or so for an annual payment for the post paid plan. I paid the money in 2012 may. I did not get any service outside my circle (when I travel outside UP), and the complaints raised by me has not been addressed by them.

The employee, Mr. Ram Singh of Tata Photon Kanpur was asked to close my connection in March 2013. He did not do anything, and now they are calling from Delhi Court - for additional pay of Rs. 2300, otherwise you will be thrown to jail.

I am perplexed by these losers. I am changing to BSNL. Whatever it is, we will have peace of mind.
