[Resolved]  Tata Safari — Lack of support

Dear Sir,

Iam forced to bring to your notice that the issues which I have been facing so far. I have taken a car loan from Kotak Mahindra, Monteith Road, Egmore Branch.

My Car Finance A/c: CF-4919755

My account is handled by Mr.Sathish –Business Head, Mobile No: +91 [protected] and Mr. Rajesh -Mobile no:91+[protected] who is collecting all the details from us.

Now, every three days once I had received a call from the collection team stating that “Your cheque has bounced back and when are you going to pay the amount?”. I was really shocked and amazed since the said amount has been paid by me through our Bank of Boroda, Mylapore Branch, and Chennai. I am attaching herewith the Car loan bank statement details for your quick reference. This message was also conveyed over phone to your above mentioned officials. Again, after 3 days, I got a same call from the collection team and enquired the same. On the other day, Mr. Mr. Rajesh had visited our office and collected all the details from me and confirmed that there was miscommunication and assured that this will not happen in future. I specifically requested to him to convey these details to all his team members also. After one week, I have received a similar call from your collection team and asking about the payment for November 2008 due which was paid by me promptly. I clearly informed to them that I paid all the amount in time and if you require any details please contact your Mr.Sathish or Mr. Rajesh for better clarity about this. After that, the phone was disconnected. I informed this to Mr. Rajesh on the same day itself. Now your team has moved in to one step forward in period of calling and treating a customer. After one week the same call from the same Egmore branch and threatened me for the payment. This is really frustrating me and I am unable to concentrate my other activities also.





I have signed the contract with Kotak Finance which includes the name transfer, insurance etc .As you know, iam running the third month of after signing the contract. I have not received anything from them apart from the above calling. I have contacted Mr. Rajesh to get me the details. He posted the issue to “RTO” for smart card system which will be implemented by their office. (For all I know and recent article in the Hindu, the Honorable Transport minister Mr.K.N.Nehru addressed that the system will be implemented in Tiruvanmiyur and cuddolore district only. I will send you the article if you require.). This is totally irrelevant and redirects the issue back to RTO. However Mr. Rajesh committed that the documents will reach us on 09 Dec, 2008. Sofar, I have not heard anything from him at all except “silence”. What shall I do now? How long should I drive a car without legal documents?





For instance, I have received a call from Mr. Rajesh and Mr.Sathish stating that you have missed the signature in the agreement. Can I get the signature now? I never missed the signature, I replied. But they are insisting repeatedly saying that the same. So I have asked them to come and get the signature. When I told them the time was 5.30 and I rushed to go home.( My home is 35 kilometers away from my office). They had come and explained the features of the other insurance which will be free, Supplementary, mandorty for Kotak etc. They forced me to sign the insurance document within 15 mts. They never talked about the signature and have they given us lot of false commitment ? As you know, I was reached the home at 10.30pm instead of 7.00 pm on the day.



I told Mr. Rajesh, if you have any new insurance, it is not required to discuss the plan details in the late evening and why you are saying that “ I missed the signature “ in the agreement and asked me to stay without any reason. This is totally unacceptable and I have asked him, if it is required for sales target, why you don’t mention the truth when you called me. Mr. Rajesh reply is “if we said like that only, you will stay with us”.

In later stage, Mr.Sathish has refused to give his email id and contact number when I faced such above problem. He said, I didn’t have any office email id.

This is not really in professional manner and good ethics from finance company and never heard before from anyone such unprofessional behavior.

Everytime they have asked me to resubmit the papers again and again and put the reason to someone else in your office / govt when i asked for reason the resubmission.


Because of bad experience, Iam forced to write this letter to you and put before you these questions.

Is there any mishandling happening to my payments. If not, why they are calling me frequently to pay up?

a) Because of your lack of database updation, why should I be troubled by your officials?

b) Is there any use of communicating your team?

c) How do I believe that they are from Kodak recognized staff or not, in future?



Please take corrective steps immediately and relieve me from mental agony and frustration.

I expect your response and reply with in ten days.
